Coredegon

Coredegon is a rogue Mechtogan as well as one of the reincarnations of Iblis and a major character in Super Smash Bros. Crossover. Coredegon is the main antagonist of Season 22, operating under the identity of Wiseman, and eventually becomes one of the main antagonists of Super Smash Bros. Crossover. In Season 23, Coredegon revealed that when he mutated, he unintentionally released some excess energy and gave birth to Master Hand and Crazy Hand, making Coredegon the true antagonist of Super Smash Bros. Crossover. Coredegon's status as the main antagonist of the series is ultimately confirmed when it is revealed that he impersonated Sasuke Uchiha during the events of Season 7 up until the first arc of Season 28. In Season 29, it is revealed that Coredegon really kidnapped the Heroes of Legend prior to the series, and forced them to relive their past adventures while later trapping them in a nightmare world where their friends betrayed them. Following the birth of Necrosis and the League of Villains' betrayal, Coredegon becomes more of an anti-hero than a villain, though he is initially still intent on destroying all Bakugan, and becomes an ally of the Heroes of Legend. However, after Tikal kills the Heroes of Legend in Season 32, Coredegon returns to his antagonistic ways as he is now free once again. Recently, Coredegon and the Nomadic Mechtogan have permanently fused with Starly, Mephiles, and Iblis to become the complete Solaris, although Coredegon and the Nomadic Mechtogan can emerge at any time.

Events Prior to Debut[]

Coredegon was responsible for all of the events in Super Smash Bros. Crossover, due to his role as the main antagonist.

  • During his mutation, Coredegon unintentionally released some excess energy, causing the newborn Master Hand and Crazy Hand to become psychotic entities bent on destruction. However, this event also gave birth to the Children of the Core, who would later be reincarnated as the Heroes of Legend (prior to Season 25) and The Offspring of Zorc.
  • Coredegon unintentionally created the first of many "creepypastas" in the form of Dark Silver. However, Coredegon, Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor were forced to restrain him and lock him up since he was uncontrollable. Coredegon then went on to create Fleetway Super Sonic, but due to using Sonic the Hedgehog as his genetic template, Fleetway Super Sonic was rebellious and refused to listen to Coredegon and fled to Fleetway Mobius. Embarrassed by this unexpected turn of events, Coredegon created BEN and Zombie Zelda, who were obedient compared to Dark Silver and Fleetway Super Sonic, to cause the Heroes of Legend to suffer.
  • Coredegon created the zombie virus in his head, but did not physically make it due to his other plans. Although he passed knowledge of how to create the virus to Yami Bakura, Coredegon was unable to create the true virus the way he wanted it until Fawful, who helped create the prototype of the virus, came and helped him make it.
  • In order to gather all the Heroes of Legend together, Coredegon began teleporting them to the Bedroom, which ironically proved to be Coredegon's biggest mistake, as not only did some of the Heroes of Legend join forces, but Coredegon and his fellow Mechtogan could not, and still cannot, gain access to the Bedroom.
  • Coredegon attempted to kidnap Sasuke in Season 7 and impersonate him. However, Sasuke outsmarted Coredegon by creating a special clone and escaping. However, since Sasuke went into hiding, Coredegon was able to effectively replace Sasuke. This event happened sometime after Coredegon was defeated by the Bakugan Battle Brawlers, since he was disguised as Wiseman during this event.
  • Coredegon had an plan to kill Tikal along with Master Hand and Crazy Hand by luring them into an trap which he decieved them stating that the Bakugan Battle Brawlers are harming Angel Island and gave an order to defeat them in order to give her echidna tribe back, and upon returning he will kill them. However this was prevented when the Battle Brawlers were able to read her mind and see the future in which she found out and escaped,

History[]

Debut as Wiseman[]

Wiseman was recruited by a mind controlled Miles "Tails" Prower at some point offscreen. He assists the villains by providing them with Bakugan Battle Suits, though unfortunately Wiseman was only able to provide 3 Battle Suits. Wiseman and Tails later battle against the Heroes of Legend with the Razenoids and the Nonet Bakugan. However, they are caught off guard by Spectra Phantom, who provides Naruto Uzumaki, Anubias, and Sellon with new Battle Suits, and is forced to retreat due to the arrival of Yugi Muto, Jaden Yuki, Yusei Fudo, and Yuma Tsukumo, with his reason being that, eventually, the Heroes of Legend will join the villains. Wiseman later secretly leaves the villains and joins Meta Knight, but at the same time leaks information to the Heroes of Legend, making him the primary antagonist of Season 22. After Meta Knight murders Serena, Wiseman asks Fabia how she feels, and is pleased at her hatred. Wiseman then removes his mask, revealing his false identity as Gunz Lazar, while stating the nightmare is just beginning. After Fabia Sheen, Sonic the Hedgehog, Ren Krawler, Pichu, Zombie Wasp, and Psycho Kirby become the Dark Heroes of Legend and send their friends to Earth-TRN028, Wiseman announces to the people of Earth that their planet has become a spaceship, and demonstrates what will happen if they defy him by using the Eclipse Cannon, which is the engine of the Planet ship, to destroy Pluto. Wiseman later battles against some of the heroes, both by himself and with the Nonet Bakugan, and is able to hold his own. Eventually, Wiseman decides to summon Mechtavius Destroyer, but is ultimately defeated by Gohan. However, Wiseman doesn't lose his cool and retreats for the time being. Wiseman then observes Meta Knight's betrayal and Zelda's defeat at the hands of Link, saying they just weren't up to the task. Wiseman is later defeated again by Gohan. Wiseman later returns and assists Yami Bakura, and later Samus Aran, in their plans of intergalactic destruction. After Samus is killed, Wiseman and the other villains are arrested by the heroes. However, Wiseman quickly launches an escape plan, and busts out of prison with Ganondorf, Orochimaru, The Dark Surfer, Dr. Neo Cortex, Ripto, Ridley, King K. Rool, and the villains of the Silly Melee Universe. After arriving at Ganondorf's base created for the Neo Smash Champion Tourney, Wiseman reveals his goal of recreating the universe in his own image to the other villains.

Identity Revealed[]

Later, after Zombie Wasp becomes the Dark Wasp, Wiseman challenges her for control over the universe, and reveal his true identity as Coredegon. When the Heroes of Legend return, Coredegon decides to kill Ganondorf and Orochimaru, as he has no further use for them, before preparing to fight Gohan, Piccolo, Vegeta, and Future Trunks. Despite his power after being ressurected, Coredegon is defeated by Gohan when Dark Wasp distracts him, and is sent to the Dark Earth. Battered and broken, Coredegon (once again in his Wiseman form) wonders how he could've lost to Gohan as Mechtavius Destroyer twice, before being approached by Yami Bakura, Samus, Orochimaru, Dr. Doom, and Uka Uka.

Final Activities as Wiseman[]

In Season 23, Wiseman continues to act behind the scenes, and reveals to Mario the connection between the Heroes of Legend and the Offspring of Zorc so that the heroes go to Pandemonium to save their friends. Wiseman then seizes the chance to absorb the Smash Core and the Offspring of Zorc, and turns everyone on the scene into a trophy except for his fellow rogue Mechtogan and Classic Sonic, who was shielded by Aku Aku and Uka Uka. Despite his power, Wiseman is defeated when he is caught off guard by an assault from several Mechtogan, and soon loses his grip over the Smash Core, and is drained of all his power as a result. Wiseman is then blasted into a gateway to the realm of the Mechtogan, but is locked out with his brothers and is sealed in the gateway as he is incinerated.

Wiseman's Future[]

When Wiseman discovered that Master Chief saw him in an illusion, he learns that if Master Chief learns about his Mechtogan form. He can defeat him this worried Wiseman and he sent Master Hand and Crazy Hand to corrupt Tikal at Angel Island so he could be revived. Coredegon later is revived by Master Hand and Crazy Hand through Tikal, but the loss of the majority of his power forces him to be stuck as Wiseman, and his mask is put on the unconscious Shadow the Hedgehog so he can regain physical form. Wiseman later exterminates nearly all life in the universe, but is sent between dimensions along with his brothers yet again. Master Chief goes after him to search Tikal. Meanwhile Wiseman later forges an alliance with Metal Sonic, who promises to give him a new body if he helps Metal Sonic defeat Sonic. However, Wiseman is left behind in the Smash Core by Metal Sonic, giving Wiseman the opprotunity to restore himself. While floating to his restoration, Coredegon recalls how he was walking around the Mechtogan realm with his brothers, waiting to be summoned, when they stumbled upon a new section of their realm, and found an orb inside. Coredegon touched the orb and let his brothers touch it, but their exposure to the core causes Coredegon, Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor to mutate. Coredegon told his brothers that they no longer required their creator Bakugan to survive. Coredegon also released some excess energy, which leaked into the realm of the Hands during the birth ceremony, the result being that the twin hands were mutated and became Master Hand and Crazy Hand, therefore making Wiseman the true antagonist of the series. Wiseman later battles alongside Dark Wasp and Metal Sonic in his Metal Overlord form against the Heroes of Legend, Modern and Classic Tails, Modern and Classic Knuckles, and Shadow and manages to defeat them. However, Wiseman is later absorbed by Dark Wasp after the dark ressurection of the Heroes of Legend.

Passing the Wiseman persona on[]

After the revival of the Vampire Avengers, Coredegon is freed from the Infinity Gauntlet, but is soon sent between dimensions again. However, the Nonets save his helmet and tell Tikal to put it on. Corrupted by the effect of the Infinity Sword and seeking vengeance on the creepypastas, Tikal sells her soul to Coredegon, who transforms her into the new Wiseman.

Becoming Whole[]

Coredegon eventually loses his grip over Tikal's will, but is able to use the last ounce of his control over her to break the seal on the creepypastas so he can absorb their essence and become whole. Coredegon manages to succeed, and his power increases drastically to the point where he can handle multiple opponents without becoming Mechtavius Destroyer. Despite this, the Dark Heroes of Legend, Miles "Tails" Prower, Infinity Titanium Mecha Sonic, the Pecking Order, the Nonets, and Dr. Eggman's forces are able to trick Coredegon long enough to escape his wrath.

Attempt To Bring Disaster[]

He began merging with the Nomadic Mechotgan to become Mechtavius Destroyer, then as soon as Tikal and Chaos merge together and become Tikahos, Mechtavius Destroyer had recorrupted her and had an plan to kill her by first decieving them to defeat the Bakugan Battle Brawlers at Angel Island and then upon returning he will kill them. However he was furious to find out that they have realized his plan due to Master Chief overhearing him and alerting the brawlers seeing the future and hiding in Smash City. He orders Razenoid to control Master Hand and Crazy Hand to capture her. However despite this Tikal was still able to defeat the possesed Master Hand and Crazy Hand and sending them back to Coredgon. Coredgon later began controlling the Dark Heroes Of Legend to fight the brawlers, however Tikal was with the brawlers and knew the same fate of them and was able to help Drago defeat them by using her bakugan powers this resulted the Dark Heroes Of Legend to lose their darkness. They joined an alliance with the Bakugan Battle Brawlers and contacted other heroes to defeat Coredgon. Upon hearing the news, Mechtavius Destroyer broke out of full rage and contacted every villain to join him and hunt down and defeat the Heroes Of Legends and the rest of the heroes, this made an huge impact that led to Fight to the Finish 2 Arc.

Downfall and Death[]

With the Mechtavius Destroyer and his villain alliance hunting down the Heroes Of Legend. Mechtavius Destroyer locates them and sees them. He and the rest of the villains are poised for battle and give an order to strike when the Heroes Of Legend see them, as soon as they get they recognize that he has arrived, Mechtavius Destroyer and the villains charge and begin the battle on them. However, they are assisted by Dragonoid Destroyer, who has finished his metamorphisis. While Mechtavius Destroyer had the upper hand before, he is overwhelmed by Naruto, Goku, Vegeta, Sonic, Shadow, and Dragonoid Destroyer in their super forms. Mechtavius Destroyer refuses to accept defeat, but he is swiftly incinerated by Dragonoid Destroyer, resulting in the deaths of Coredegon, Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor, finally putting an end to the rogue Mechtogan's reign of destruction and terror.

Meeting The Gravemind[]

After being killed in Fight to the Finish 2 Arc, the Gravemind began scouring where Master Chief last went, it suddenly spotted the area where Mechtavius Destroyer was last destroyed. It resurrected all of the Nomadic Mechtogan and began them into it's henchmen. He was ordered to hunt down Master Chief, Coredegon stubbornly refuses telling that he dose not take orders. Gravemind began growing in size and began to threaten Coredegon that he take his Mechtogan powers if he dose not accept the task. Coredegon was frightened and went after the spartan.

Defeated Again[]

Mechtavius Destroyer began to head to Mushroom Kingdom into searching Master Chief, as he located Master Chief and his friends, Mechtavius Destroyer began attacking Mario which drew Master Chief's attention towards him and made the spartan broke out of full anger rushing directly at him, Suddenly Master Chief spots an mega mushroom and eating to grow in size and turning him into an gigantic form now known as Mega Chief. Mechtavius Destroyer was brought into fear into seeing Master Chief grow into an size bigger than him and was badly beaten up by the massive spartan as an punishment for trying to kill Tikal and was reverted back into Coredegon, Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor. Coredegon along with the Nomadic Mechtogan began fleeing cowardly from the massive soldier. But Mega Chief had grabbed every one them and threw them far away, sending them back to Gravemind.

Final Defeat and 2nd Death[]

Despite proclaiming they would return, Coredegon, Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor would ultimately meet their end when Drago went back in time to the moment in time after Coredegon created Master Hand and Crazy Hand, but before he created BEN and Zombie Zelda, determined to prevent the deaths of his friends. While Drago was overwhelmed at first, he received support from Wavern and Fear Ripper's spirits, giving him the strength to destroy Mechtavius Destroyer permanently.

Return and 3rd Death[]

Even though Dr. Eggman had been sent to White Space, Dragonoid Destroyer knew he would return and try to finish Operation DNA, so he took the Heroes of Legend and their Bakugan back in time to when Coredegon, Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor discovered the orb, and took it from the rogue Mechtogan before the mutation took effect. Coredegon, Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor then proceeded to battle the Heroes of Legend and had an advantage once they became Mechtavius Destroyer even though they didn't mutate. However, the orb sensed the Heroes of Legend's determination to prevent Mechtavius Destroyer from destroying the multiverse again, and it affected them instead of the rogue Mechtogan. Despite the previous advantage he had, Mechtavius Destroyer is overwhelmed by the new and improved Heroes of Legend. Mechtavius Destroyer then charges up for his ultimate attack, which buys the Heroes of Legend time to combine and form the Ultimate Fusion. Mechtavius Destroyer is then destroyed once and for all by the Ultimate Fusion.

Revival[]

Unfortunately, Coredegon, Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor are revived in the new timeline by Dr. Eggman. Although the rogue Mechtogan struggle at first with escaping the Home For Infinite Losers, Coredegon's determination is renewed when Dr. Eggman reminds him that they are tougher than mere shackles. However, Coredegon, Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor refuse to obey Dr. Eggman, but they spare him, deciding to go and find the Heroes of Legend and make them pay for humiliating them. Coredegon, Slycerak, Exostriker and Mandibor later combine into Mechtavius Destroyer, and nearly kills Anubias, Sellon, Spatterix, Stronk, and Tremblar. However, Zenthon, Zenthon Titan, and Dragonoid Destroyer arrive in the nick of time to help the Heroes of Legend take down Mechtavius Destroyer again and for safety measures, Dragonoid Destroyer takes away the rogue Mechtogan's independence and binds Coredegon, Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor to the Nonet Bakugan, meaning they can only return if the Nonet Bakugan summon them.

Permanent Destruction[]

Later, Dragonoid Destroyer teleports all the heroes and villains and Mechtavius Destroyer to the Center of Time and Space, where if the heroes and villains win, Mechtavius Destroyer will be erased from existence, and if Mechtavius Destroyer wins, he can do whatever he wishes. Mechtavius Destroyer has the upper hand at first, dominating over the heroes and villains gathered. However, Dragonoid Destroyer begins releasing the limits of the heroes and villains, and reveals that they share a bond that transcends time, space, and reality that can never be broken. Dragonoid Destroyer then reveals his true identity as the Children of the Core and their Bakugan, the original Dharaknoid and Genesis Dragonoid, who all inform Mechtavius Destroyer that because he abandoned his master, he became nothing, and that he can never tear the heroes apart. These words have a emotional effect on Mechtavius Destroyer, as he is seen shedding tears. However, Mechtavius Destroyer refuses to give up, but is ultimately defeated and destroyed by the heroes and villains.

Rebirth[]

Later, Samus Aran and the Nonet Bakugan battle against Mag Mel, Metal Sonic, Mystique, Professor Viper, and a brainwashed Anubias and Sellon and get overwhelmed quickly. However, Samus and the Nonets' hatred is so strong that they respawn Coredegon, Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor. However, these are not the same Nomadic Mechtogan that were erased from history, which is shown when Mandibor protects the Nonets from Evolved Razenoid. Coredegon says that was why they were summoned, to protect their masters. The Nomadic Mechtogan quickly combine and annihilates the mass of Chaos Bakugan that Evolved Razenoid summoned, forcing the villains to retreat. Later, Samus uses the Nonets in a ritual to merge with Coredegon in an attempt to bring back the Offspring of Zorc. However, Coredegon begins to have a change of heart after seeing that the Mechtogan are living peacefully on Planet Smash, but decides to put the past behind him by killing Fury for rejecting him and his brothers. However, Coredegon is unable to kill Fury due to the interference of Yami Bakura. However, the Nonets remind Coredegon that he has slaughtered millions, prompting Coredegon to declare that he, Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor will free the Mechtogan by killing them and their creator Bakugan. Much later, it is revealed that Coredegon and the Nomadic Mechtogan were within the Smash Core, with fragments of their DNA being released into their forms. After this is revealed, Coredegon vaporizes the clones of Mechtavius Destroyer, BEN, Zombie Zelda, Fleetway Super Sonic, and Zorc Necrophades (the latter also being in the Smash Core), before proceeding to kill every hero and villain. However, this horrific massacre is undone by the Battle Brawlers' Bakugan when they use the Current of Time to make sure the Heroes of Legend get the Smash Core fragment that mutated the Nomadic Mechtogan when they were supposed to. Later, Coredegon begins to regain his memory after an encounter with Fleetway Super Sonic, who had set him, Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor free once again, and it is revealed that Coredegon was the one who created Fleetway Super Sonic, but due to using Sonic the Hedgehog as the base, Fleetway Super Sonic refused to listen to Coredegon and the demon fled to Fleetway Mobius. After this unexpected embarrassment, Coredegon decided to create BEN and Zombie Zelda as Fleetway Super Sonic's replacement, with better results. After the flashback, Coredegon remembers that he is the Destroyer of Worlds, and that he has a destiny to fufill. However, Coredegon is defeated once again by the Heroes of Legend.

Ressurection[]

After this defeat, Coredegon doesn't reappear for a while. However, during Drago and Razenoid's third battle against the Wolverine Bakugan and the Iron Man Bakugan, Coredegon siphons the energy from the intense battle to increase his strength beyond his previous limits. Afterwards, Coredegon (as Mechtavius Destroyer) heads to Smash City once again and ultimately manages to destroy it since the heroes were away looking for Fleetway Super Sonic. Coredegon doesn't reemerge as an individual until after Nazo defeats the Heroes of Legend, where he proceeds to transform into Wiseman for the first time since he abandoned the identity so he can initiate his ultimate plan to gain control over the Heroes of Legend. However, Coredegon is ultimately killed for good by the Heroes of Legend once the Smash Core is completed.

3rd Ressurection[]

Due to Metal Sonic destroying the barriers of time and space, Coredegon and the Nomadic Mechtogan were revived, and they proceed to attack Classic Sonic, who is trying to figure out what happened. However, Coredegon is forced to retreat when Modern Sonic comes to save his younger self.

Arrival in the Internet and Insanity[]

Later, Coredegon and his allies follow the heroes and villains to Earth-T, and later the Internet. Due to the transporter being destroyed, Coredegon transforms into Wiseman once again and begins to explore the Internet hoping to find an exit or a source of power, but ultimately settles on gaining more power. Later, Coredegon betrays Samus and Mephiles the Dark, due to Samus getting on his nerves while Exostriker suggested disposing of Mephiles as well. Coredegon then proceeds to become Mechtavius Destroyer and kills Samus and Mephiles without difficulty. Later, Coredegon acquires the Gospil Seed, an object capable of mass destruction, and then battles alongside Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor against the Heroes of Legend and their allies along with the residents of the Internet. Despite combining into Mechtavius Destroyer, Coredegon and the Nomadic Mechtogan are defeated and is stripped of all their stolen power. This event, coupled with his constant defeats at the hands of the Heroes of Legend, causes Coredegon (who is once again in his Wiseman form) to finally go insane. In his delusional state, Coredegon attempts to kill the Heroes of Legend with just a shotgun, but is stopped from doing so by Fleetway Super Sonic. Following this, Coredegon is thrown into an asylum by the heroes and restrained in a straightjacket. Later, Coredegon is broken out of the asylum by the villains, hoping they could control him, but the Nonet Bakugan decide the only way to get the vengeance they were robbed of is by killing the Nomadic Mechtogan. Despite his immense power, Coredegon and the other Mechtogan are beaten by the heroes and villains once again.

Merging with Time and Space[]

Following their recent defeat, Coredegon realizes that the Heroes of Legend have always been able to defeat them because they existed outside time and space, but because of that, they lack alternate timeline counterparts. Coredegon then summons Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor so they could fuse with their alternate timeline counterparts. Afterwards, Coredegon takes control of Lena Isis in order to challenge the heroes and villains once again, hoping to put his theory to the test. Due to his increased strength as Mechtavius Destroyer, the heroes and villains are forced to retreat from the fight after the tyrant easily defeats Dragonoid Destroyer. However, Rosalina is unable to escape from Mechtavius Destroyer's wrath, prompting Coredegon to try to possess her. Unfortunately, Rosalina's unique body has an unexpected effect on Coredegon, and while he is unable to possess her, Coredegon gains her powers and control over the Lumas and the ability to transform into Rosalina.

True Destruction?![]

Coredegon later engages in a fierce battle against the heroes and their allies. Despite having the upper hand as Mechtavius Destroyer, Coredegon and the Nomadic Mechtogan are overwhelmed and sent flying when the heroes and their allies use the positive energy of the Power Stars to increase their strength. Coredegon and the Nomadic Mechtogan are then pummeled further by Mario, Luigi, Wario, Yoshi, Shadow the Hedgehog, Silver the Hedgehog, Vegeta, Ben Tennyson, and the Bakugan Battle Brawlers, before they are ultimately vaporized by the Ultimate Fusion. Due to merging with their alternate timeline counterparts, Coredegon, Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor are finally destroyed for good, with no chance of being ressurected again.

Unexpected Return[]

Even though it seemed like Coredegon was gone for good, he had orchestrated another plan to return from the dead. Coredegon launched his plan by brainwashing Lena Isis into becoming the newest incarnation of Wiseman, manipulating Kevin Levin after he becomes Ultimate Kevin, and uses them to gather energy for his ressurection. Despite being delayed by Vilgax, Coredegon and the Nomadic Mechtogan are revived at full power by Lena, Ultimate Kevin, and Dry Bowser, with the addition of the energy of the Power Stars.

Defeated for Now[]

Later, Coredegon and the Nomadic Mechtogan become the Heralds of Diagon, but later betray him to steal his power. However, Coredegon, Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor are later struck by irony when Ultimate Kevin betrays them and absorbs their energy, only to lose it to Darkstar and Vilgax. Realizing he can never win, Coredegon tempts the League of Villains into launching an all out war against the heroes, with the intention of returning when he has gained significant power.

Return to Action and Death[]

When Dark Silver is liberated by Fleetway Super Sonic, Coredegon returns to action with the Nomadic Mechtogan to reimprison his demented offspring. While they are knocked away at first, Coredegon, Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor come back with Vilgax, and manage to subdue Dark Silver and imprison him in the Doom Dimension. Later, Coredegon, Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor return to participate in the Grand Design. It is also revealed that Coredegon and the other villains have been conspiring ever since the Neo Smash Champion Tourney began, and that Coredegon purposely released only the villains that participated in the Neo Smash Champion Tourney from prison, and that he also implanted seeds in every villain that would enable them to remember the original timeline, even having them fight against the Nomadic Mechtogan as part of a greater plan for multiversal conquest. Later, Coredegon manipulates Ultimate Kevin and Rogue into absorbing the darker part of Sasuke's personality and has Psyphon absorb it from them, reverting Kevin and Rogue to their normal forms and merging all the villains into the Nomadic Mechtogan for the final battle. However, Coredegon and his allies are obliterated by the Heroes of Legend and their allies. Despite trying to use Lena to bring them back again, Coredegon's plan is thwarted by Metal Mario, ultimately ending Coredegon and the other villains' lives for good.

Unofficial Return[]

However, Coredegon and the other villains wouldn't remain gone forever. After the battle against them ended, the Internet created digital clones of the villains because it felt the heroes would be bored without them. Luckily, Coredegon and the Nomadic Mechtogan needed extra time since they were extremely powerful. Unfortunately, Metal Mario would end up gathering the needed energy and revived Coredegon and his brothers from the dead. It is later revealed that the digital clones of Coredegon and the other villains were created by XANA as part of a failsafe, and is subsequently destroyed when XANA is deleted.

Fufilling the Grand Design and Betrayal[]

Just when it seemed like Coredegon and the villains were gone for good, Lena forced Master Hand to release new versions of Coredegon and every other villain. Coredegon and the other villains then proceed to battle the Heroes of Legend once again before Lena shows up after the Nonets are killed. Coredegon and the Nomadic Mechtogan then proceed to absorb the other villains with Psyphon's energy absorption device and gives their energy to Sasuke Uchiha, corrupting him once again. Coredegon then reveals to the battered Heroes of Legend that this was the true purpose of the Grand Design before the Internet resets the multiverse. Following this event, Coredegon, Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor cut their ties to the other villains as they proceed to enact the final phase of their plan, though they would team up with the villains of the multiverse for the final battle against the heroes of the multiverse. Unfortunately, Mechtavius Destroyer pushes himself beyond his limits, allowing Psyphon to absorb Coredegon, Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor with his energy absorption device and give the energy to Sasuke, putting an end to Coredegon and the Nomadic Mechtogan's reign of terror at last, unintentionally saving the multiverse from destruction at their hands. Unfortunately, this was all a part of Coredegon's plan, as he has the Heroes of the World (who were rewritten to desire power during the Grand Design) ressurect him, Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor completely. Shortly after this, Coredegon and his brothers head to Volcano Island, much to the horror of the Heroes of Legend and the League of Villains, to participate in the final battle against the Heroes of Legend. However, Coredegon and his brothers retreat after getting pulverized by the Heroes of Legend at full power.

Catalyst Revealed and End of the Nightmare[]

During the intense battle between the Heroes of Legend and the League of Villains following the Nomadic Mechtogan's retreat, Sasuke suddenly summoned Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor, who stated that the fight is over, with "Sasuke" claiming that he finally has all the energy he needs, and sarcastically thanks everyone for helping him in his plan. It is then subsequently revealed, and confirmed by Mecha Sonic, that the Sasuke that obtained the Smash Core was none other than Coredegon in disguise. After being distracted by the enraged villains, Coredegon prepares to hunt down the heroes but first decides to reveal to the real Sasuke, who was being imprisoned prior to Season 28, that he (Sasuke) was one of the Dark Children of the Core, and had programmed into his offspring the command to corrupt Sasuke, subsequently making him the perfect vessel for Coredegon. When Mecha Sonic states that this means that Coredegon was behind everything that happened, Coredegon confirms this, but states that he has a destiny to fufill, and leaves to engage the Heroes of Legend, the Heroes of the World, and the League of Villains in a final battle for the fate of the multiverse. Despite being invunerable, Mechtavius Destroyer finds himself struggling after the heroes help Naruto charge up a massive Rasenshuriken which he manages to catch, but has to throw it before it blows up. Unfortunately for Coredegon, Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor, Sasuke manages to distract Mechtavius Destroyer with Kirin, causing him to drop the Rasenshuriken, which is subsequently pushed into him by Gohan's Kamehameha, causing the Rasenshuriken to explode on impact, killing Coredegon and his brothers for good and finally ending their reign of terror at long last since no one would try to revive them now.

Escaping the Home For Infinite Losers[]

Following their defeat, Coredegon, Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor were sent to the Home For Infinite Losers, where they were kept in line by Medusa and Hades. When the Heroes of Legend went to the Home For Infinite Losers in an effort to learn how to undo the effects of the Grand Design, Coredegon and the Nomadic Mechtogan tried to get their revenge on them, but were swiftly defeated even after merging as Mechtavius Destroyer. Mechtavius Destroyer then proceeds to help the Heroes of Legend escape so he could do the same by challenging Medusa and Hades. Unfortunately, while the Heroes of Legend are able to escape, Coredegon, Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor are flipped back by Way Big, and are unable to escape from the Home For Infinite Losers. However, Coredegon and his brothers are soon allowed to leave after Hades learns of their connection to Vilgax.

Another Death[]

Due to the Grand Design, the Heroes of the World become corrupted and just as destructive as Coredegon. While Coredegon realizes the only way to stop this is to prevent him from impersonating Sasuke, Coredegon refuses to throw away a year's worth of planning and merges with his past self in a final effort to kill the Heroes of Legend. Unfortunately, Coredegon, Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor are finally killed by Goku's Super Multiversal Spirit Bomb, putting an end to their reign of terror for good and undoing the effects of the Grand Design, returning everyone to normal.

Contingency Plan and Truth Revealed[]

Even though Coredegon was killed, he activated an emergency contingency plan. When Coredegon stole DNA from Rosalina, Bowser, and Sasuke, he left some of his own DNA in them so that he could be revived again one day. Sasuke later reveals to Lucario that he has acquired the ability to transform into Coredegon at will, and subsequently assumes Coredegon's form and ressurects Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor. Shortly afterwards, Rosalina also demonstrates the ability to transform into Coredegon. While neither Sasuke or Rosalina are intent on reviving Coredegon, Sasuke restores Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor's independence, and they are now working to revive Coredegon from the dead. Coredegon is later ressurected through Rosalina after Lucario unleashes all his power against Sasuke, and is now in complete control of Rosalina's body. However, Coredegon and his brethren are later betrayed by the League of Villains after he reveals he left his DNA in everyone except the Heroes of Legend, as the League of Villains convince the other heroes to take the power that the Heroes of Legend denied them, and Coredegon, Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor are absorbed into the energy absorption device that Psyphon used to enhance Vilgax and Lena in the past, and are subsequently transferred into the other heroes despite Ben and Sonic's protests. However, thanks to Mutant Elfin stating that the betrayal of their friends and the acid rain is a nightmare, Ben realizes that the Heroes of Legend have been trapped in a dream world by Coredegon this whole time. When the Heroes of Legend subsequently break free of the illusion, Coredegon is stupified, but prepares to settle the score by killing the Heroes of Legend in a final showdown. Unfortunately, Coredegon and the Nomadic Mechtogan are overwhelmed even as Mechtavius Destroyer. In a final effort to cause the Heroes of Legend to suffer, Mechtavius Destroyer attempts to release the true zombie virus upon the Hidden Leaf Village, but is prevented from doing so by Mecha Sonic, since he is loyal to Sasuke. Too exhausted to continue, Mechtavius Destroyer is forced to flee from Volcano Island.

Stepping Out of the Spotlight[]

Following his recent defeat, Coredegon (still Mechtavius Destroyer at the time) retreats to Gundalia, and seperates from Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor before turning back into Wiseman while slumped against a wall. Coredegon then goes into a rant about how he nearly had the Heroes of Legend destroyed but was still beaten when Zombie Mario shows up, offering to help Coredegon with his vengeance. Deciding to step down for a while, Coredegon gives Zombie Mario the second container of the new zombie virus, and tells him to release it in the Hidden Leaf Village. After Zombie Mario leaves, Coredegon begins to pass out only for Zombie Wario to show up and ask about the new version of the zombie plague. Coredegon then finds himself surrounded by Gundalian soldiers who pursued Zombie Wario for eating several Gundalians, but shift their attention to Coredegon, recognizing him as the Destroyer of Worlds. Coredegon sarcastically explains he was trying to rest, but decides to release the third and final container of the new zombie virus upon Gundalia. Coredegon then flees on a Shiny Metagross and proceeds to watch the destruction of Gundalia, but is ultimately found by the Heroes of Legend, Spectra Phantom, and Iron Man, forcing Coredegon back into action. However, even after combining as Mechtavius Destroyer before the fight truly begins, Coredegon backs down, saying he is exhausted from his constant battling and wants to let others gain time in the spotlight while he rests. However, after the Heroes of Legend, Spectra, Iron Man, Treecko, and Snivy leave, Coredegon declares he will find out how to beat them for good.

Return to Action[]

Following Sasuke Uchiha's defeat, Coredegon returns to Gundalia, only to get surprised by Sasuke appearing before him, despite him being arrested a day ago. When Coredegon questions how Sasuke escaped, he learns that Sakura still has a crush on Sasuke, and that she liberated him from prison. Realizing that he is now aware of a mole within the Heroes of Legend, Coredegon intiates his final plan, the Grand Finale, by convincing the villains to help him destroy the Heroes of Legend for good, though he hides the fact that Sasuke is going to work with them. Coredegon then shows up during the Heroes of Legend's battle against Slycerak, Exostriker, Mandibor, Sasuke, and Sakura, where he reveals Sakura's treachery before abandoning his Wiseman persona for good, and joins in the final fight against the Heroes of Legend.

Final Defeat and True Death[]

During The Grand Finale, Coredegon is combined with his brothers as Mechtavius Destroyer for most of the arc. During this time, he battles the Heroes of Legend and their allies several times, but leaves before an outcome can be decided. Ultimately, Coredegon's rage reaches its peak after being humiliated by the League of Villains, which proves to be his downfall as Naruto, Goku, Sonic, Bowser, and Mewtwo use this distraction to unleash their full power on Mechtavius Destroyer and manage to kill him with the help of Dragonoid Destroyer, finally putting an end to Coredegon's wrath for good. For safety measures, Master Hand and King Kai lock up Coredegon, Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor in the deepest depths of the Home For Infinite Losers, where they can never be revived.

Escaping the Grave, Final Showdown, and True Destruction[]

Despite his death and imprisonment, Coredegon and the Nomadic Mechtogan are able to escape from the Home For Infinite Losers with the help of Sakura Haruno, though they are still dead. Upon returning to Earth, Coredegon and his fellow renegade Mechtogan (as Mechtavius Destroyer) destroy Station Square. After the heroes are corrupted by Phazon, Mechtavius Destroyer proceeds to defeat the League of Villains and the zombies, sending the villains to the Doom Dimension and killing all of the zombies except for Colonel America, Zombie Daredevil, Zombie Nova, Zombie Mario, and Zombie Wario in the process. However, just as Mechtavius Destroyer is about to head to New Vestroia to annihilate all Bakugan, the Heroes of Legend and their friends return, having overcome the Phazon Corruption, for the final battle against Mechtavius Destroyer. Despite his increase in power, Mechtavius Destroyer is overwhelmed by the Heroes of Legend, and in a final act of desperation, annihilates the crater that Station Square was once located on. However, Mechtavius Destroyer is vaporized by The Creator's Triune and Dragonoid Destroyer. Since they were still dead, Coredegon, Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor are subsequently erased from existence forever.

Unexpected Ressurection[]

Unfortunately, good things are never meant to last, as Ryuga would orchestrate Coredegon and the Nomadic Mechtogan's next revival through Sakura, Jill (Fabia's daughter), and Tikal and Master Hand's children. However, while Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor remain as individuals, Coredegon is merged with Sakura as part of the ressurection.

Brief Redemption[]

Unfortunately, Coredegon is betrayed by Sakura, who steals his true form after Zane, Yami Yugi, and Jaden use De-Fusion to separate them. After Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor sacrifice themselves to help Coredegon (who is trapped as Wiseman) get inside Sakura to fight the Heroes of Legend and their friends, Coredegon battles against Naruto, Goku, Sonic, Zombie Spider-Man, and Dan, but is ultimately defeated. After witnessing Sakura destroy what remains of the Smash Bros. Galaxy, where she humorously begins to dance after her victory, Coredegon sacrifices himself so that the Heroes of Legend can use Galactic Nova to escape from Sakura's body. Coredegon is later revived and regains his true form when the Heroes of Legend use Galactic Nova to undo all the damage that Mechtavius Destroyer and Sakura caused, and brings Sakura to the asylum after she is sedated and defeated as a way to repay them for saving his life, and asks Nova to give the heroes the ability to control their Phazon Corruption.

Endgame[]

Following Sakura's defeat, Coredegon began planning the true Grand Finale. As part of his plans, Coredegon, Slycerak, Exostriker, Mandibor, and their creations, as well as Mephiles the Dark used their excess energy to ressurect Zombie Sue, Zombie Torch, Zombie Thing, and Fawful. However, Coredegon explained that Zombie Reed would need a little more time, though his reason was that Zombie Reed is the leader of the zombie Fantastic Four. Coredegon later got the energy needed to ressurect Zombie Reed, and learned that Fawful helped Sakura escape the asylum, much to his anger. Despite this, Coredegon and his forces proceed to engage the heroes in a final battle to determine the fate of the multiverse. However, Coredegon is defeated despite having combined with Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor, though the Nomadic Mechtogan survive this conflict despite being knocked down to Earth.

Return of the Phoenix and Final Destruction[]

Following his recent defeat, Mechtavius Destroyer informs Link, Zelda, and Sakura that the Phoenix Force was approaching the Earth, and that the Phoenix they destroyed with the others was merely a fragment of the Phoenix Force. After they leave to join the League of Villains at his request, Mechtavius Destroyer gets the attention of the Phoenix Force by telling it that the host it seeks is on Earth, prompting it to change its course for Earth. Mechtavius Destroyer is later confronted by Naruto, Bowser, and Mewtwo, who engage Mechtavius Destroyer in the final battle for the fate of the multiverse. However, when the Phoenix approaches, Mechtavius Destroyer annihilates the platform they were fighting on and tells the Phoenix Force its host is on Earth. However, when the Phoenix has its back turned, Mechtavius Destroyer blasts it from behind, scattering it over the Earth. Mechtavius Destroyer later battles against the Heroes of Legend one last time, and is truly killed for good after being restrained by the reformed Sakura, finally putting an end to Coredegon and the Nomadic Mechtogan.

Escaping Death[]

Unfortunately, despite his death, Coredegon did not make it to Other World. Instead, Coredegon, Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor escaped to the DNA they left within the Heroes of Legend's friends, where they remained dormant as they lacked physical bodies. However, Coredegon and the Nomadic Mechtogan would later regain their physical bodies due to the energy generated by Meta Knight and Galacta Knight's battle to determine who would keep the Halberd, though Coredegon and his brothers are currently operating at 75% of their full abilities, and are currently unable to act independently. Despite this setback, Coredegon and his allies do not hesitate to challenge the Heroes of Legend, Dan Kuso, Marucho Marukura, Shun Kazami, Gunz Lazar, Kirby, Meta Knight, King Dedede, Bandana Dee, Sword Knight, Sasuke Uchiha, Captain Falcon, and Solid Snake, still possessing enough power to give them a tough time regardless of their condition. However, the battle is left inconclusive due to Meta Knight destroying the Halberd so that they couldn't harm anyone else. Unfortunately, Coredegon, Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor grab Naruto, Goku, Sonic, and Sasuke and absorb their energy to fully ressurect themselves, and the rogue Mechtogan survive the destruction of the Halberd. However, just before they leave, Coredegon has a vision of the heroes splitting up, and decides to see if it will come to fruition first. Coredegon then orchestrates an attack by the League of Villains during Marth's attack on the heroes, and ultimately brings about The Schism of Heroes as a result. Satisfied, Coredegon, Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor return to Volcano Island, where Coredegon reanimates the deceased Heroes of Legend (Anubias, Sellon, Zombie Iron Man, Psycho Kirby, the Dark Surfer, and Sakura) and turns them into his Six Paths of Pain. Coredegon then battles against Princess Peach and wins after combining with Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor into Mechtavius Destroyer. Confident in his victory, Mechtavius Destroyer ressurects the Halberd and reanimates his other victims, as well as Galactus and Zombie Daredevil, to serve as his army in his next assault. However, Mechtavius Destroyer pushes Naruto, Fabia, and Zombie Wolverine over the edge by ressurecting their friends, and unintentionally helps Fabia unlock her 3rd stage. However, Mechtavius Destroyer is truly humiliated when Jill creates an organic mecha of Psycho Kirby to fight him in, and delivers a serious amount of damage despite being an infant. Wanting to avoid repeating what happened with Gohan, Mechtavius Destroyer is forced to retreat without the Halberd and loses his reanimated army in the process.

Altered Past and the Fourth Dimension[]

Before Mechtavius Destroyer is able to strike again, Naruto and Drago go back in time to before the Grand Finale in order to defeat him once and for all. Despite using the power of Nova to restore everyone's power, Mechtavius Destroyer's future self goes back in time and merges with his past self. However, the battle is interrupted when Dimentio finds the DBD of the main dimension that allows access into the Fourth Dimension, prompting Mechtavius Destroyer to steal it and flee to the Fourth Dimension to start anew, though Dimentio, Link, and Zelda tag along with him. Upon arriving in the Fourth Dimension, Mechtavius Destroyer is attacked by the Heroes of Legend, who have pursued him to the Fourth Dimension to stop his destructive rampage. Eventually, Coredegon is forced to separate from Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor and turns back into Wiseman. While the Heroes of Legend and the Fourth Dimension versions of the heroes try to stop him, Coredegon deploys a variety of the zombies' powers to escape to the top of the 4D Tower, and finds the Dimensional Stars (D-Stars for short). However, just before he can absorb them, Coredegon is kicked by Sheik (who he carried while running away) since she is feeling nauseous, causing him to lose the D-Stars. Enraged by this embarrassment, Coredegon flees from the scene.

Hunt for the D-Stars and Incarceration[]

Coredegon later reappears, still in his Wiseman form, after Naruto, Modern Sonic, and Classic Sonic begin looking for D-Stars on Bob-omb Island, where it is revealed that Coredegon has joined forces with the native villains of the Fourth Dimension, such as Bob-omberman and Dowser, who is Bowser's 4th Dimension counterpart. Coredegon then battles against Modern Sonic and Classic Sonic and is able to overwhelm them without transforming into his true form. However, Coredegon and Bob-omberman are forced to retreat after Naruto gets the first D-Star, since the Sonics got a power boost from it. Upon returning to his new lair, Coredegon takes a nap in hopes of forgetting what just happened, but is informed by Dimentio that the Heroes of Legend have already got 5 D-Stars. After confirming that Dowser and Bob-omberman have hidden 14 D-Stars in their respective hideouts, Coredegon decides that he will eventually let the Heroes of Legend bring all 120 D-Stars to him, but will try to interfere with them regardless.

Coredegon later has Dowser and Bob-omberman's forces gather the D-Stars and give them to the heroes, and reveals his true colors to his henchmen, before attempting to kill the Heroes of Legend and their friends and foes, who came to the Fourth Dimension to help them. Despite combining with Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor to form Mechtavius Destroyer, Coredegon is finally defeated when Naruto and Drago combine and overwhelm Mechtavius Destroyer, who reverts back to Wiseman. However, Naruto spares Mechtavius Destroyer, since he doesn't think he is worth killing. Unable to continue battling, Mechtavius Destroyer passes out, and is imprisoned in Smash City's asylum and is put under maximum security so he can never escape.

Escape, War Zone, Betrayal, and Redemption[]

When Metal Sonic begins to initiate his own plans for world domination, Mechtavius Destroyer decides to escape from prison and join in on the fun. After successfully tricking the guards of the asylum, Mechtavius Destroyer hacks into the computer system and witnesses Metal Sonic unveil the Omega Egg Blade Carrier while lifting Volcano Island and the Dome with it. Impressed by the villains' determination, Mechtavius Destroyer transforms into his true form and leaves the asylum. Mechtavius Destroyer then confronts the Heroes of Legend once again, and manages to escape when Sakura knocks them out. During this encounter, Mechtavius Destroyer meets the future versions of Jill and Necrosis, the latter of which turns out to be Mechtavius Destroyer's own daughter (much to Mechtavius Destroyer's shock). Having sensed the Phoenix Force returning to Earth, Mechtavius Destroyer gives the Heroes of Legend an ultimatum of surrendering by the time the Phoenix arrives or he will destroy every last person on Earth. When the Heroes of Legend and their friends refuse to surrender, Mechtavius Destroyer combines with the League of Villains and defeats the heroes without any mercy. After winning, Mechtavius Destroyer grabs the Heroes of Legend and their Bakugan and throws them towards the Phoenix Force, where he proceeds to integrate the Phoenix Force into them before flinging them away to the Mystic Ruins. Following this, Coredegon separates from Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor, and declares to the Heroes of the World that he is sparing them since he has already won and they pose no threat to him whatsoever. Coredegon then proceeds to take Jill onboard the Omega Egg Blade Carrier to meet Necrosis. Later, Coredegon and the Nomadic Mechtogan are betrayed by the League of Villains, and despite having combined to form Mechtavius Destroyer before the battle and teaming up with the Heroes of Legend, Coredegon is defeated by the League of Villains. When King Dedede offers to join the League of Villains to save his friends, Mechtavius Destroyer is allowed to come along with them as a prisoner. Before going onboard the Omega Egg Blade Carrier, Mechtavius Destroyer goes over to the future version of Necrosis and hugs her while stating he is proud to be her father, and that they will reunite soon. At this point, Coredegon has had a change of heart. While still intent on annihilating all Bakugan, Coredegon is no longer the monster he once was, as Sakura's loyalty and Necrosis' birth have slightly changed Coredegon for the better, as he is protective of his family and will sacrifice whatever he has to for their safety. In addition, Coredegon has developed a great deal of respect for Naruto, and is convinced that he is the key to peace between all dimensions. Mechtavius Destroyer later escapes his prison cell with the help of Link and Zelda, and swears to make the League of Villains pay for harming Sakura before returning to his true form. Mechtavius Destroyer then joins in the final battle against the League of Villains. However, when the League of Villains reunite into their true form of Giga Bowser, Mechtavius Destroyer reveals that he accidentally created Giga Bowser during his mutation, and split him into the League of Villains. Unable to defeat the ressurected Giga Bowser, Coredegon separates from Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor as they transfer their essence into the Smash Core to enhance the Heroes of Legend so they can defeat Giga Bowser. Before fading away, Coredegon tells Necrosis to remain strong for him, and apologizes for all the pain and suffering he has caused the heroes.

Release from the Smash Core[]

Coredegon becomes a part of the Smash Core following his sacrifice, and his only appearance prior to his liberation is during the struggle against Male and Female. Even after becoming Mechtavius Destroyer, Coredegon is defeated since he needed the Nonets to operate, and they were unable to maintain his presence. However, when Tikal kills the Heroes of Legend, Coredegon is released from the Smash Core along with his brothers, and doesn't return to it following Tikal's defeat.

Fate of the Smash Dimensions[]

When Meta Knight rallies most of the heroes and the League of Villains to declare war on the Heroes of Legend, Coredegon is seen on Volcano Island in his Wiseman form grinning evilly, stating that everything has gone as he planned, and is now set to destroy all dimensions, indicating that Coredegon has returned to his villainous ways. Coredegon then proceeds to summon Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor for the final battle to end it all. However, despite combining to form Mechtavius Destroyer, Coredegon's plans are delayed when Kirby has the Dark Matter brought to Earth so he can avenge his family.

Earth's Final Hours[]

During the conflict against Zero Two and the Skrulls, Mechtavius Destroyer acts behind the scenes and assists the Skrulls in order to disrupt the trust of the heroes. Ultimately, after forming a team of his own, Mechtavius Destroyer initiates his final siege upon the Earth at the same time the Skrulls begin their final assault to claim the Earth as their own. However, Mechtavius Destroyer is ultimately defeated by the Heroes of Legend as his allies are defeated, and turns back into Coredegon. Brutally beaten, Coredegon ponders how he could've lost when he had everything planned perfectly, and was invincible to boot. Refusing to accept defeat, Coredegon begins to get up and demands the fight resumes, but is ultimately taken away by the Watcher due to the threat he poses, and is locked up in a maximum security prison and sedated so he can never endanger the dimensions again.

Return[]

During the Angel Island conflict, Coredegon seized the distraction as a chance for him and the other villains incarcerated by the Watcher to escape. Having Jen disable their cell, Coredegon reverts to his Wiseman form and blasts the cell apart. Confirming the other villains are still intent on achieving their goals, Coredegon teleports himself, Jen, Zero Two, Zombie Reed, and Zombie Giant-Man to Angel Island. Coredegon's team is unable to kill the Heroes of Legend though once they flee. However, Coredegon successfully recruits Rosalina to his cause by revealing part of her origins. Coredegon also manipulates Knuckles the Echidna into becoming the malevolent Enerjak with the help of Tikal.

Final Stand and Exile[]

Finally having everything he needs and with the Heroes of Legend disbanded, Coredegon begins his siege upon the Earth once again, confronting Sonic after Shadow threatens to destroy the Earth. Coredegon then psychologically attacking Sonic about how he has failed to save the Earth, and attempts to convince him to give him the Chaos Emeralds. However, Sonic declares he will never surrender to Coredegon, prompting the tyrannical Mechtogan to turn into his true form and combine with Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor into Mechtavius Destroyer to destroy Sonic. Unfortunately, Mechtavius Destroyer's attempt to isolate Sonic fails due to the interference of the other heroes, and he is subsequently surrounded by the other Heroes of Legend. After Jen is slain, Mechtavius Destroyer realizes he may lose, prompting him to stop holding back. However, Mechtavius Destroyer is defeated by the other Creator's Triune and the Dimensional Colossus, and is subsequently exiled from the Smash Bros. Galaxy and hurled into the sun. Following this event, it was assumed that Coredegon and the Nomadic Mechtogan perished.

Unexpected Return, Conflict with the Dark Star, and Destruction[]

Unfortunately, good things are never meant to last. Following the Heroes of Legend's victory over Rosalina and Dr. Eggman's death, Mechtavius Destroyer is seen observing the scene from space, cruelly stating that their victory shall soon turn into despair before teleporting himself back into the Smash Bros. Galaxy and causing a massive earthquake due to his presence. Upon successfully arriving, Coredegon lands in Skrullopia, the Skrulls' new island nation, and separates from Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor and has them retreat to the realm of the Mechtogan until he calls them before reverting to his Wiseman form. Coredegon then pulls out a vial of zombie plague and pours it into Skrullopia's water supply with the intent of infecting the Skrulls as part of his new plan. Coredegon later combines with Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor to form Mechtavius Destroyer once more to battle against the heroes and villains before the battle is interrupted by Fawful. Mechtavius Destroyer then watches as Fawful ressurects the Dark Star as Dark Bowser, only to be absorbed by the incomplete Dark Bowser. After Dark Bowser destroys Skrullopia, Mechtavius Destroyer battles against the malevolent entity to prevent him from destroying the Earth, an honor that Mechtavius Destroyer believes belongs to him. However, before Mechtavius Destroyer is able to deliver the final blow, Rosalina makes her move and absorbs Dark Bowser to augument her power and become the new Creator. Mechtavius Destroyer later attempts to destroy the Heroes of Legend once and for all, but is interrupted by the arrival of Crownux, who declares the Heroes of Legend as the Rulers of the Dimensions. Unable to accept defeat, Mechtavius Destroyer unleashes all of his power, but is ultimately destroyed by the combined efforts of the Heroes of Legend, finally putting an end to Coredegon's reign of terror for good.

Ressurection[]

After being liberated from Ganondorf's control, the Heroes of Legend are left emotionally scarred and betrayed. Unsure of who they should trust, the Heroes of Legend ressurect Coredegon, Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor in the hopes of getting answers on what to do. While Coredegon is initially hostile, he notices the Heroes of Legend's broken spirits, and agrees to help them discover their purpose. When the Nomadic Mechtogan question this, Coredegon states that things have changed in his absence, and that he refuses to fight opponents whose spirits have broken.

Return to Villainy[]

Following the events of Season 33, Coredegon remains in Subspace to plan his next move. Coredegon later combines with Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor to form Mechtavius Destroyer in an attempt to help Samus fight against Dark Samus, but ultimately fails. Later, after learning that Mephiles was controlling Master Hand, Mechtavius Destroyer and Ganondorf decide to host the Neo Smash Champion Tourney once again in an attempt to bring Mephiles out of hiding. Mechtavius Destroyer also ressurects Mecha Sally, Ridley, and Ino in order to cause Sonic and Samus to suffer, having already registered them in the tournament as Team Metal. However, Mecha Sally later roboticizes Ino, despite the fact that Mechtavius Destroyer made it so she couldn't roboticize the undead, due to Ino being infected with the zombie virus, causing Mechtavius Destroyer to try and bring the renegade robot under control, but to no success as Mecha Sally has surpassed Mechtavius Destroyer.

Rise of the Revolutionaries, the Conspiracy, the Wiseman Protocol, and Fusion[]

After Mecha Sally's defeat in Subspace and Mephiles' demise, Mechtavius Destroyer finally puts his own plan into action, as he has been absorbing the energy of Mecha Sally's battles with the Heroes of Legend, and is now once again ready to rise to power. Mechtavius Destroyer then learns of the Revolutionaries, but dismisses them as a threat because they are helping him succeed instead of stopping him.

Despite this, Mechtavius Destroyer is still largely inactive until the Dimensional War, where he fights against Kirby, Meta Knight, Kakashi Hatake, Mecha Sally, Ridley, Mecha Ino, Proto Man, Neon, Necrosis, Dusk, and Nathan as well as the Heroes of Legend alongside his allies to determine the fate of the dimensions. However, Mechtavius Destroyer retreats after Midna is revealed to be the leader of the Revolutionaries. Mechtavius Destroyer later helps the Heroes of Legend and Creator's Triune defeat Midna, but retreats with the Revolutionaries after Midna's defeat, and Coredegon finally separates from Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor due to exhaustion. Later, Coredegon puts his plan into action, and reveals that he and the Heroes of Legend have been conspiring to remake the world as they see fit since the reset occured, and aides the Heroes of Legend, Offspring of Zorc, and Creator's Triune in their fight against Nazo, which ends in their victory due to Nazo dying from illness. Following Madara's rise to power, Coredegon joins Vile's faction of the Revolutionaries and assists them in attempting to capture Gwen Tennyson during the invasion of Anodyne. Unfortunately, Obito Uchiha and Midna interfere and infect Gwen with the Midna Virus, forcing Sasuke to order Coredegon to activate the Wiseman Protocol, which Coredegon proceeds to do. Following this, Coredegon later learns from Mephiles that he and the Nomadic Mechtogan are actually Iblis' reincarnations, with Starly being Mephiles' reincarnation. When Starly later accepts the fact that she is a part of Solaris, Coredegon permanently recombines with the Nomadic Mechtogan as they merge with Starly to become the complete Solaris.

Personality[]

For some reason, Coredegon shows different personality traits depending on whether he is Wiseman or Coredegon, suggesting split personality, although both Wiseman and Coredegon are very sadistic.

Wiseman[]

Wiseman is very manipulative, as when Meta Knight began his massacre, he took advantage of the situation for his own gain, resulting in his control over the Dark Heroes of Legend, and upon arriving in the Fourth Dimension, Wiseman began manipulating its native villains for his own gain. Unlike Yami Bakura, Tobi, or Uka Uka, Wiseman rarely loses his cool when his plans fail, and is always prepared. Due to his mysterious and manipulative nature, Wiseman is untrusted by his own allies. Wiseman also shows signs of arrogance, and is able to back it up with his power. Wiseman also shows signs of advanced intelligence and his IQ exceeds that of Yami Bakura, as he has extensive knowledge on how the Smash Core works and is a skilled hacker, as well as being the one who came up with the zombie virus. After being ressurected by Master Hand and Crazy Hand, Wiseman becomes much more deranged, though this is most likely due to his rage at being defeated by the Heroes of Legend's companions, who he considered weaker than himself. Wiseman also shows some traits that weren't present before, as he addresses Dr. Eggman as "Doctor" and addresses Classic Eggman as "Classic Robotnik", and tells them not to try and conquer New Vestroia, which he plans to make the homeworld of the Mechtogan. It is reasonable these traits came from Shadow the Hedgehog, who actually respects Dr. Eggman, and Tikal, who hates violence. In Season 29, Wiseman is more malevolent than before, and begins to display a wittier nature. In Season 35, Wiseman is much more impatient than before, unwilling to wait for the right time, although this is likely due to his anger at being betrayed by Obito and humiliated by Madara.

Coredegon[]

Once he reveals his true identity, Coredegon becomes more aggressive and sadistic, as he ruthlessly murdered Ganondorf and Orochimaru simply because they had served their purpose and he had no further use for them, and does not hesitate to destroy those who stand in his way of multiversal genocide. Overall, Coredegon is the cruelest villain in the series, not caring about anyone but himself and his fellow rogue Mechtogan, Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor. However, Coredegon revealed that prior to mutating, he was like any other Mechtogan and was loyal to his master Fury, but had a knack for exploring areas. However, during his battle against the Heroes of Legend in the past, Coredegon revealed that while he and his fellow rogue Mechtogan obeyed Fury, they didn't like it. In Season 24, it is revealed that this is because Fury considered Coredegon, Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor worthless due to their power being incapable of helping him escape. In Season 29, Coredegon begins to show a soft spot to Sakura Haruno after she joins him. Before getting erased from existence, Coredegon threw Sakura off his shoulder so she wouldn't get killed, which shows how much Coredegon cares for her. However, after Sakura betrayed him, Coredegon treated Sakura as an enemy, although he was somewhat saddened that she had fallen so low. Despite this, Coredegon treated Sakura with hostility after learning of her escape from the asylum, to the point of spawning a rake to hit her when she tried to get close to him. When Tikal's treachery is exposed, Coredegon reveals that while he has no problem using people, he hates being used himself, possibly because it is a reminder of his former life. After Necrosis is born, Coredegon begins to mellow out, and his destructive tendencies have lessened to just wanting to destroy all Bakugan. In addition, Coredegon becomes much more caring about the safety of his family, and has lost most of his arrogance, as he ultimately put all his faith in the Heroes of Legend to defeat the League of Villains for good, something that Coredegon has never done before. After Giga Bowser's ressurection, Coredegon has a complete change of heart, as he apologized to the heroes for causing them to suffer before fading away. However, Coredegon returns to his original ways following his ressurection. Upon returning to the Smash Bros. Galaxy, Coredegon's cruelty and demented nature reach new heights, as he deliberately contaminated Skrullopia's water supply to infect the Skrulls, not caring about the consequences it will have on the world. However, Coredegon is full of pride, as he personally battled Dark Bowser simply so he could have the honor of destroying the Earth. After being ressurected, Coredegon becomes somewhat of a mentor to the Heroes of Legend due to their broken spirits, as he refuses to fight weakened opponents. However, Coredegon still has a sadistic nature, as he revived Mecha Sally and Ridley to cause Sonic and Samus to suffer. Ironically, while Coredegon isn't against using biological warfare, he criticized Midna for her use of the Midna Virus, stating that it is better to cause one's foes to suffer. However, it is likely that Coredegon believes using mind control is a boring way to defeat his enemies, further reflecting his sadistic nature as he prefers to torture his foes as long as possible. Following the battle with Midna, Coredegon's manipulative nature is shown again when it is revealed that he swayed the Heroes of Legend to his side following their fall from grace with the offer of revenge against the ones who abandoned them, while Coredegon only intends to use the Heroes of Legend to accomplish his own goals.

Battle Record[]

Coredegon has a decent battle record and has the best battle record compared to Sasuke and Yami Bakura, though most of his fights have been against the Heroes of Legend as well, which explains his defeats. Interestingly, Coredegon did not win a battle until after his final loss with Master Chief

Six Paths of Pain[]

Like Nagato, Tobi, and Yami Bakura, Coredegon is able to generate his own Six Paths of Pain. Like Yami Bakura and Tobi, Coredegon's Six Paths of Pain are customized. Each of Coredegon's Six Paths of Pain are each of the deceased Heroes of Legend. Coredegon lost his paths when Psycho Kirby rebelled against him after seeing his daughter, Jill, for the first time.

The Wiseman Protocol[]

Throughout the series since his debut, Coredegon has shown the ability to pass the Wiseman persona on to others through Wiseman's helmet. In Season 35, it is revealed that Coredegon can use this to his advantage by turning those who have assumed the identity of Wiseman in the past into extra bodies, somewhat replacing his lost Six Paths of Pain. However, the Wiseman Protocol merely puts those possessed by Wiseman under Coredegon's control, and does not kill the host. In addition, Coredegon's new bodies do not gain new abilities like the Six Paths of Pain. Coredegon can also choose which people have assumed the Wiseman persona to convert into extra bodies.

Wiseman Trivia[]

  • Wiseman is the only villain that wasn't recruited by Ripto.
  • After Fabia embraces her hatred, Wiseman isn't seen in his mask again until the Countdown to Doomsday Arc, save for his announcement to the people of Earth and possibly Neathia, Gundalia, New Vestroia, New Namek, and Young Earth.
  • Wiseman appears to have met Mag Mel at some point before his death.
  • Wiseman's Ascent Mode is a reference to Gunz Lazar, who donned a red version of his outfit after putting on Wiseman's helmet.

Coredegon Trivia[]

  • Coredegon is the first Mechtogan to be able to transform into a human form.
  • Coredegon is similar to the Offspring of Zorc in a few ways, as both are ruthless tyrants and have the ability to possess others.
  • Coredegon appeared earlier in Season 20, and before he was revealed as Wiseman, he told the villains not to waste time as if he had a higher authority over them. This was probably a foreshadowing of Coredegon becoming the main antagonist of the series.
  • Coredegon is the most heartless villain in the series, as he wiped out nearly all life in the multiverse and does not hesitate to betray his own allies, excluding Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor.
  • Despite being the main antagonist of the series, Coredegon did not officially appear until Season 22, even though Master Chief had an illusion of him in Season 20
  • Coredegon, Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor are the only villains that tainted the Smash Core that weren't erased from existence during the recreation of the Smash World.
  • With the exception of a few battles, Coredegon always battles alongside Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor. This is due to the fact he usually combines with them to form Mechtavius Destroyer.
  • Coredegon, Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor are the second villains who have defeated an army of zombies with no sweat, the first being Yami Bakura.
  • Since Coredegon created Master Hand's offshoot, which created the Smash World, that technically means that anything within the Smash Bros. Galaxy is his legal property.
  • Despite the threat that the Heroes of Legend pose to him, Coredegon has not tried to eliminate their younger selves, though this is because there are only eight Heroes of Legend with younger counterparts.
  • Up until Season 34, Coredegon was the strongest antagonist in the series.
