The Heroes of Legend, referred to as the Heroes of the Cosmos by Rosalina, are the strongest heroes in all of the dimensions, though they become anti-heroes in Season 23 and major antagonists in Season 34 and Season 38, although their status as antagonists in Season 38 is inconsistent due to split personality disorder. They were formed at the end of Season 1, and the group increased to 8 at the end of Season 8, reached 14 at the end of Season 21, and rose to 16 in Season 23. The group consists of Naruto Uzumaki, Goku, Zombie Spider-Man, Sonic the Hedgehog, Psycho Kirby, Fabia Sheen, Ren Krawler, Sakura Haruno, Pichu, Anubias, Sellon, Gohan, Zombie Wasp, Bowser, Samus Aran, Mario, Luigi, Shadow the Hedgehog, Silver the Hedgehog, Yoshi, Ben Tennyson, The Dark Surfer, Zombie Wolverine, Zombie Iron Man, The Punisher of Earth-TRN028, Boo Rock, Mewtwo, Sasuke Uchiha, Vegeta, Princess Peach, Metal Sonic, Yami Bakura, Rosalina, Bass, Marth, KirbyRidley, and Batman, with Fawful as an unofficial member during the second Neo Smash Champion Tourney. However, Sasuke did not join the group despite helping out with defeating Xaos until Season 31 since Coredegon was impersonating Sasuke at the time. Ganondorf was temporarily a member, but he later betrayed the Heroes of Legend for his own selfish agenda.

In Season 9, Tikal revealed to Mr. Game & Watch and R.O.B. that the Heroes of Legend were destined to exist and they were to suceed Master Hand and Crazy Hand as the rulers of the Smash World. They are very powerful due to possessing the core of the Smash World and the core of Pandemonium. At the end of Season 9, they became the completed core of Smash Bros, sacrificing their lives in the process. However, they are given new bodies and are branded with the Smash Symbol to represent their rulership status. Unfortunately, the Heroes of Legend, along with Ben Tennyson, Luigi, and DK, soon learn that if they can't surpass the core's power, their new bodies will be temporary. Luckily, they still surpass the power of the Smash core, most likely due to also having the Pandemonium core. In Season 11, the weapons of the Heroes of Legend were introduced. In the Season 12 finale, Yami Bakura secretly fused with the Heroes of Legend, allowing him to possess any of them at will. In Season 13, the Heroes of Legend become moderators for the Smash World Grand Prix, but half of them take a far more brutal approach to battling after a change of mind. In Season 14, every Hero of Legend, except for Naruto and Goku, are killed by Pandoria. They are all revived at the end of Season 14, and Sasuke rejoins them after realizing the error of his ways. After Season 16, Fabia and Psycho Kirby retired briefly to protect Neathia, but rejoin due to the threat that Samus Aran and Yami Bakura pose to the universe. During the finale, Samus realizes the error of her ways and officially becomes a Hero of Legend since she now possesses a Smash Core fragment. Anubias and Sellon join the group after being forcibly revived by Yami Bakura as they were embedded with fragments of the Smash Core. As of Season 19, the Heroes of Legend are the only heroes that are not infected by the zombie plague, with the exception of Zombie Spider-Man, who was already infected to begin with. In Season 19, Sasuke leaves the group and becomes an antagonist once again. Currently, Naruto, Goku, Zombie Spider-Man, Sonic, Samus, Anubias, Sellon and Zombie Wasp are active members, with Fabia and Psycho Kirby returning to Neathia and Ren returning to Gundalia during Season 20. Sakura later replaces Sasuke when his former Smash Core fragment chooses Sakura to wield its power. Pichu is later given Samus' Smash Core fragment after Samus decides to join her parents in the afterlife. Later, the Heroes of Legend are absorbed by Yami Bakura, and are revived after his death, but with the entire Smash Core at their disposal.

In Season 21, the Heroes of Legend are taken to the past by Tikal in order to learn the truth of the Smash Core's powers. When Tikal is killed by Yami Bakura, the Heroes of Legend unlock all of the Smash Core's power with LV 5, and swiftly defeat Ganondorf, Patient Zero, and Yami Bakura. After returning to the present, the Heroes of Legend go to the Core zone, where they once again become the complete Smash Core, but unlike last time are allowed to keep their bodies. In addition, Samus is revived as a Hero of Legend.

Unfortunately, in Season 22, the Heroes of Legend slowly begin to descend into darkness after Meta Knight begins slaughtering their loved ones, which is only made worse by Wiseman, who wants the Heroes of Legend to become villains. Eventually, Sonic, Ren, Zombie Wasp, Pichu, Fabia, and Psycho Kirby become the Dark Heroes of Legend, and send their former comrades, as well as The Dark Surfer, Zombie Iron Man, and Zombie Wolverine to Earth-TRN028. The Dark Heroes of Legend then proceed to unite Neathia, Gundalia, New Vestroia, New Namek, Young Earth, and the Bedroom with Earth and turns Earth into a space ship so they can destroy the universe. Later, due to the interference of Ben Tennyson, the Dark Heroes of Legend are purged of their hatred. However, in order to destroy it, Piccolo absorbs half of the hatred from the Ultimatrix, though is unaware he didn't get it all due to a feedback wave the Ultimatrix sent out, and is killed by Yami Bakura to prevent it from corrupting him. However, the result of half the darkness being absorbed is that Sakura, Anubias, Sellon, and Samus become Dark Heroes of Legend (though they hide this fact) while Sonic, Fabia, Ren, and Psycho Kirby are purified. Later, Fabia and Psycho Kirby defect due to Fabia going insane and Psycho Kirby having a crush on her. Sonic and Ren later defect from the group when Zelda blackmails them. Later, the Heroes of Legend begin succumbing to Mag Mel's influence once again but are able to distinguish friend from foe unlike last time.

The Death of the Heroes of Legend[]

Later, the Heroes of Legend, with the exceptions of Anubias and Sellon, are forced to teleport Samus away before she can self-destruct and destroy the Earth, ultimately costing them their lives. Anubias and Sellon later do the same thing in a last ditch effort to stop Wiseman from gaining control over the Heroes of Legend, though they are the ones who self-destruct. The Heroes of Legend are later revived without explaination when Bowser forces the Offspring of Zorc out of the Millennium Ring, as their halos are gone.

Completion and Revelations[]

In Season 23, when Samus and Zombie Wasp redeem themselves, the Heroes of Legend manage to unlock the final levels of the Smash Core, becoming complete in the process. Later, Wiseman reveals to Mario that when Master Hand and Crazy Hand were born, they were psychopaths who only wished to destroy. When the elder Hand tried to purge the evil from their souls, it instead spawned 20 infants, with 16 being the manifestations of the Hands' good, with 2 being connected to the evil, and 4 being the manifestation of the Hands' evil. A second attempt to seal the Hands only resulted in the 14 infants of their good losing their bodies, and the 6 infants of their evil being merged into Zorc Necrophades. Wiseman also reveals the Heroes of Legend are the reincarnations of the 16 infants of good (2 connected to evil), and the Offspring of Zorc are the reincarnations of the 4 infants of evil. The Heroes of Legend are then absorbed alongside the Offspring of Zorc, but manage to escape with the help of their friends, and the younger versions of the Heroes of Legend join the group.

Dark Ressurection[]

The Heroes of Legend continue to defend the universe from Wiseman's wrath, but Zombie Wasp is soon corrupted by the Infinity Sword again after she absorbs her Vampire counterpart and becomes Dark Wasp. Dark Wasp then proceeds to corrupt Tikal with the Infinity Sword. The Heroes of Legend and the Offspring of Zorc later battle against Metal Sonic in his Metal Overlord form, but even the Ultimate Fusion is powerless against the tyrant. After defusing, the Heroes of Legend and the Offspring of Zorc are horrified to learn that Metal Sonic reanimated the deceased Sally Acorn as a robot. Even though they give it their all, the Heroes of Legend and the Offspring of Zorc are brutally beaten by Mecha Sally. On the verge of death after this humiliating defeat, Dark Wasp and Tikal return with a mysterious man named BEN (credit to Jadusable), and perform a ritual to revive the battered Heroes of Legend and Offspring of Zorc, but they are now corrupted due to their lives being restored with creepypastas. The Heroes of Legend then transform into the Dark Heroes of Legend once again, and while their friends try to snap them out of it, the Dark Heroes of Legend brutally injure their friends with Yamcha being the only one left standing.

Final Metamorphisis[]

While the Dark Heroes of Legend later get a temporary grip over their inner darkness, it is later revealed that they weren't entirely reborn yet, and eventually formed a tree cocoon. Wiseman, however, speeds up their metamorphisis and eventually the Dark Heroes of Legend are reborn with their hearts completely corrupted.

True Revival and Schism[]

After the creepypastas are purged from the Smash Core, the Dark Heroes of Legend are left on the brink of death. However, Shadow the Hedgehog had foreseen that something like this would happen, and gives his life force to the Dark Heroes of Legend to revive them, at the cost of his own life. Unfortunately, the Dark Heroes of Legend are rejected by their friends, who feel hurt and betrayed because their actions resulted in them getting hurt, with Shadow's death being the final straw.

True Origins[]

After going into the past and killing Mechtavius Destroyer before his mutation occured, Dragonoid Destroyer reveals to the Heroes of Legend their origins. Dragonoid Destroyer had already found the orb that mutated Mechtavius Destroyer, and saw that it was really a fragment of the Smash Core, but he also saw that Coredegon would find it and be mutated by it along with Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor, and they would commit acts of genocide. Not wanting to be mutated himself, Dragonoid Destroyer left the orb where he found it, and would enter the Current of Time and wait for the day that the Heroes of Legend would gain the Smash Core. After this, Dragonoid Destroyer tells the Heroes of Legend that they can recreate their world as they see fit. However, Sonic merely decides to erase the Offspring of Zorc (except for Samus, Bowser, and Zombie Reed) from existence, but keeping the multiverse the same otherwise. However, Samus also decides to release the Nonet Bakugan from the Doom Dimension.

Perfect Smash Core[]

Later, the Battle Brawlers' Bakugan take the Heroes of Legend's spiritual forms to the past after Coredegon and his allies eradicate all life on the new Smash World so they can undo the massive genocide. Thanks to the sacrifice of the Nonet Bakugan, the Heroes of Legend are brought to the light orb that mutated the Nomadic Mechtogan and absorb it like they were supposed to. As a result, history is altered once again and the universe is finally saved from the threat of the Nomadic Mechtogan and their sick creations.

Destiny Fufilled[]

After their friends sacrifice themselves to save the Heroes of Legend from Coredegon's clutches, they engage Mechtavius Destroyer in a final showdown and ultimately destroy the psychopath. Later, Dragonoid Destroyer informs the Heroes of Legend that they have fufilled their destiny at last, and are now free to live their own lives. After this, the Heroes of Legend have their Smash Core fragments removed to show that they are now free.

Fall from Grace[]

Unfortunately, the Heroes of Legend found themselves the target of a nasty smear campaign orchestrated by Mephiles the Dark. As a result, not only does the world know about the possible apocalypse, but are convinced the Heroes of Legend are the catalysts. To make matters worse, Samus defects from the group once again after reconciling with Yami Bakura. Even after the universe is reset, the Heroes of Legend are still hated by the world, but rather than trying to clear their names right away, the Heroes of Legend begin antagonizing their friends to ensure they stay out of harm's way.

Return to Glory[]

At the end of Season 25, the Heroes of Legend finally destroy Mechtavius Destroyer for good. After their victory, Rosalina (in her giant form) congratulates the Heroes of Legend on their victory and provides them with a new Smash Core. In addition to Samus rejoining the group, Mario, Luigi, Shadow the Hedgehog, Silver the Hedgehog, Yoshi, and Ben Tennyson become members of the group as well. Later, Zombie Wolverine, Zombie Iron Man, The Dark Surfer, and The Punisher of Earth-TRN028 join the group at the suggestion of Mutabrid.

Temporary Internal Collapse[]

In Season 27, the Heroes of Legend continue to fight against Mechtavius Destroyer and his allies, but are caught offguard by the true purpose of the Grand Design, resulting in Sasuke becoming corrupted once more. As a result of the Grand Design, the Heroes of Legend begin a downward descent without even realizing it. Luckily, the Heroes of Legend manage to get their act together for the final battles against Mechtavius Destroyer.

Saviors of the Multiverse[]

During the finale of Season 28, due to the Grand Design corrupting the other heroes, the Heroes of Legend are left with no other choice but to go down the Current of Time and prevent Coredegon from impersonating Sasuke. However, Mechtavius Destroyer isn't the one to let all his hard work go up and smoke, and challenges the Heroes of Legend to a final confrontation. After a long and lengthy battle, the Heroes of Legend finally manage to kill Mechtavius Destroyer, saving the multiverse from destruction and restoring their friends to normal.

The Grand Finale[]

During the Grand Finale, the Heroes of Legend enter their final battle against Mechtavius Destroyer and Sasuke Uchiha. However, Sakura betrays the group due to her crush on Sasuke, and Fabia and Ren are zombified while trying to save Neathia from the zombie plague, and Psycho Kirby is taken prisoner by the undead. Fortunately, the Smash Core chooses one of their biggest admirers, Boo Rock, to replace them as a member of the Heroes of Legend. During the final battle, it is revealed that the Heroes of Legend have a secondary purpose, to serve the Creator's Triune, consisting of Naruto, Goku, and Sonic. During the conflict, Mewtwo is revealed to be one of the Melee Creator's Triune, and becomes a member of the Heroes of Legend as a result of his infinite power. Fabia, Zombie Spider-Man, and Zombie Wasp later rejoin the Heroes of Legend following Mechtavius Destroyer's permanent downfall.

The Fated Confrontation With The Destroyer Of Worlds[]

Later, the Heroes of Legend and the Battle Brawlers' Bakugan engage in their final fight with Mechtavius Destroyer in order to save the multiverse from his genocidal wrath. During this battle, Anubias, Sellon, and the Dark Surfer sacrifice their lives in order to protect their friends from Mechtavius Destroyer. During the end of the fight, Sakura arrives on the battlefield, having realized the error of her ways, and possesses Mechtavius Destroyer's body, restraining him so that Naruto, Gohan, and Bowser can destroy the psychopath at the cost of her own life.

Second Schism[]

Despite the fact that Mechtavius Destroyer was supposed to die forever, Coredegon, Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor didn't make it to Other World and would eventually be ressurected by Zelda. This event, coupled with Marth's unexpected betrayal, would cause the Heroes of Legend to part ways with their friends in order to protect them, though Sonic unintentionally lashed out at them due to stress. However, prior to The Schism of Heroes, Marucho Marukura decided to let one of his Bakugan, Infinity Trister, train with the Heroes of Legend just like Shun Kazami allowed Taylean and Master Ingram to stay with them for training (while Master Ingram joined the Heroes of Legend while trying to escape Mechtavius Destroyer's wrath in a previous encounter, Shun let him train with the group). However, Zombie Spider-Man and Zombie Wasp leave the Heroes of Legend in disgust at how the heroes who saved them have fallen into disarray.

A New Adventure In a New Dimension[]

Due to Naruto and Drago altering history so as to negate the Grand Finale and ressurect everyone who has fallen to Mechtavius Destroyer, the Heroes of Legend are restored to their former strength. When Mechtavius Destroyer, Link, Zelda, and Dimentio flee to the Fourth Dimension, the Heroes of Legend ask their friends to stay behind and hold down things at home while they pursue them. Later, the Heroes of Legend watch as Naruto and Drago combine and defeat Mechtavius Destroyer again, though Naruto decides to spare the tyrant since he doesn't think Mechtavius Destroyer is worth killing.

Entering the War Zone[]

While peace had finally returned to the dimensions, the Heroes of Legend find themselves caught off guard when the League of Villains reemerge after undergoing training in the Dome for 900 years. To make matters worse, Mechtavius Destroyer has escaped from the asylum, and mercilessly defeats the Heroes of Legend after combining with the League of Villains. Mechtavius Destroyer then integrates the Phoenix Force into the Smash Core before sending the Heroes of Legend away to the Mystic Ruins. However, Samus, who had been captured before the battle had started, manages to escape from the Omega Egg Blade Carrier and destroys the Dome so that the League of Villains can't get any stronger before reuniting with the other Heroes of Legend, with the exception of Sakura who had defected prior to the battle, to prepare for the conflict that is coming. However, the Heroes of Legend start to fall apart after Fabia lashes out at Samus for leaving Jill on the Omega Egg Blade Carrier, resulting in Samus' defection from the Heroes of Legend. As a result, Zombie Iron Man exiles Fabia until she can bring herself to forgive Samus, with Psycho Kirby being her only company. However, Zombie Iron Man later changes his mind, but is forced to tie up Fabia and force her to come along since she is angry at him too. Sakura and Samus later rejoin the group after the ressurection of Giga Bowser to assist their friends in the final battle against Giga Bowser.

An Ancient Evil Released, Earth's Final Hours, and Watcher's Revelations[]

After Giga Bowser's defeat, the Heroes of Legend appeared to have finally fufilled their destiny. However, they would soon enter battle once again, this time with the evil Wireframes known as Male and Female that were released by Link and Zelda in their quest to remake their world in their image. However, the Heroes of Legend managed to win once again with the support of their friends and foes. After the destruction of Male and Female, Galacta Knight requests that Vegeta and Princess Peach join the Heroes of Legend due to how much they have evolved. However, the Heroes of Legend later find themselves fighting consecutive enemies both old and new. After defeating Mechtavius Destroyer once again, the Heroes of Legend meet Uatu the Watcher, who explains how Solaris' actions caused Master Hand to go insane. Since he fought Solaris, Sonic becomes depressed at having unintentionally caused the others to suffer. However, the other Heroes of Legend encourage Sonic to continue fighting and remind him how he never gave up in the past. This ultimately restores Sonic's fighting spirit.

Formation of Factions[]

Due to how the Heroes of Legend have become ineffective as a whole, Sonic decides to have the Heroes of Legend separate into teams to better deal with future threats, and they will only reunite under extreme circumstances.

Fallout[]

Following the battle on Angel Island, the Heroes of Legend allow Metal Sonic to join them. However, Sonic then declares that Metal Sonic can replace him, stating the Heroes of Legend have failed, and leaves the group despite the other Heroes of Legend's attempts to convince him otherwise. Mario decides to quit as well for Peach's safety, with the Punisher and Dark Surfer also leaving because they see no point in fighting for those who can't trust their saviors. Sakura also leaves, but she doesn't give any reason for doing so. This results in Anubias and Sellon quiting as well, since Anubias doesn't think a group of quitters can save the Earth. Zombie Iron Man leaves as well, stating that if everyone is leaving, there isn't any chance for Earth. Silver also leaves out of frustration that everyone is deciding to give up at the worst time possible. Ultimately, Naruto, Goku, Ben, Boo Rock, Luigi, Yoshi, Ren, Pichu, Gohan, Bowser, Zombie Spider-Man, Zombie Wasp, Zombie Wolverine, Fabia, Psycho Kirby, Shadow, Sasuke, Vegeta, Mewtwo, Samus, and Metal Sonic are the only members of the Heroes of Legend who haven't quit. The remaining Heroes of Legend decide there isn't any point in staying active, but Shadow rallies the remaining Heroes of Legend, stating they cannot quit now or everyone is doomed. However, the Heroes of Legend abandon Shadow after seeing his ruthlessness towards Master Hand, realizing Shadow is unfit to lead them.

Reunion[]

However, the fallout would not last long. Thanks to E-123 Omega, Sonic's fighting spirit is restored, and he proceeds to reunite the other Heroes of Legend, with the exception of Sakura, who betrayed the group in secret. During the final battle against Mechtavius Destroyer, Sonic recruits Ganondorf and Yami Bakura as Heroes of Legend due to their status as Creator's Triune. As Sonic is defeating Mechtavius Destroyer, Sakura reveals she was acting as a double agent for the Heroes of Legend.

End of the Nightmare[]

Following Mechtavius Destroyer's apparent demise, the Heroes of Legend get involved in several conflicts against Dr. Eggman, Rosalina, Fawful, and Mechtavius Destroyer. However, the Heroes of Legend learn from Crownux that they have become the Rulers of the Dimensions, and are branded with the Dimensional Core. With their new power, the Heroes of Legend manage to destroy Mechtavius Destroyer for good. However, Ganondorf takes command of the Heroes of Legend, stating that they need to change now that they rule all the dimensions. In addition, Rosalina reluctantly joins the Heroes of Legend after Ganondorf offers her membership within the group, due to being unable to defeat the Heroes of Legend with her current power. It is later revealed that the apocalypse is nothing more than a ruse set up by Master Hand. Ultimately, Sonic defeats Master Hand once and for all, saving the dimensions from the Dark Prophecy. Following this, Rosalina truly rejoins her friends, having realized the error of her ways.

Turning Point[]

The Heroes of Legend eagerly await Sonic's return, but are confronted by Bass, who informs them that Phaaze was blocked off since Master Hand's death. Shadow then has Mario, Luigi, and Samus monitor Bass since he explains he heard a voice in his head along the way. When Bass begins to go beserk due to Phazon infection, the other Heroes of Legend come to Bass' aide. Shadow ultimately discovers the source of the problem after Goku points it out. However, the Heroes of Legend start to get worried about Sonic because he is still missing, and are horrified when Goku suggests that Sonic was controlling the Phazon that infected Bass. This causes Shadow to grab Goku by the collar in anger, demanding that he locks onto Sonic, but lets him go because he let his anger get the better of him. Metal Sonic then reveals that the Anti-Dark Matter beam that Zombie Iron Man created only eradicates 99% of the Dark Matter, and that Rosalina's remaining Dark Matter was extracted by Master Hand. The Heroes of Legend then realize that Master Hand was hiding on Phaaze, and that he planned to combine Phazon and Dark Matter as a backup plan. Goku then locks onto Sonic, though Bowser says that Shadow should go alone, as it could be a trap and Shadow views Sonic as a friend that is keeping Maria's dream alive. Goku then teleports Shadow to Phaaze to find Sonic. After Shadow leaves, the other Heroes of Legend learn of Bass' origins. Metal Sonic, feeling sympathy for Bass, offers him a position within the Heroes of Legend and agrees to train him to become stronger, which Bass accepts. It is eventually revealed that Sonic has gone rogue, his world view having changed drastically to the point where he believes the only way to achieve peace is through force. Sonic then infects the other Heroes of Legend with Phazon Corruption, intent on making them see his point, before Gohan and Bowser break free of Sonic's paralysis. However, the other Heroes of Legend collapse due to the amount of Phazon they were infected with. Ultimately, Bowser sacrifices himself so that the other Heroes of Legend can escape with Marth, who arrived on Phaaze to find Sonic.

Descent to Darkness, Suppressed by Marth, and Liberation[]

Despite Bowser's sacrifice, the Heroes of Legend are left in critical condition until Mecha Sally ressurects them at the cost of her life. However, the thought of Sonic's betrayal, coupled with the Phazon Corruption, causes the Heroes of Legend to become more agressive, forcing Meta Knight to have them imprisoned in Subspace. However, Marth knocks everyone out after the Heroes of Legend are sent to Subspace so he can stop them from plunging the dimensions into an era of war, and at the same time save the Heroes of Legend from their insanity. However, Marth soon discovers that the Heroes of Legend are being manipulated by Sonic, and is brutally assaulted by them until Roy reveals that Marth was created to control the Creator's Triune, and subsequently the Heroes of Legend. Roy then restores Marth's memories, causing Marth to brutally attack the Heroes of Legend, bringing them to their knees and forcing them to obey him. The Heroes of Legend later help their friends fight against Marth in an effort to regain their independence, and ultimately succeed thanks to Roy. However, the Heroes of Legend immediately betray their friends, as they no longer have anyone holding them back from achieving their ultimate goal. However, it is subsequently revealed that Ganondorf was manipulating the Heroes of Legend as part of his plan to become the only Creator. Despite his increase in power, however, Ganondorf is sealed away by Sonic until he feels like releasing him.

Aftermath[]

Even though Ganondorf was stopped, the damage was already done. The Heroes of Legend find themselves feeling hurt and betrayed, unsure of who to trust and what their purpose is. In order to get answers, the Heroes of Legend ressurect Coredegon, Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor. While Coredegon is initially hostile, he agrees to help the Heroes of Legend learn their purpose after seeing how much they have changed. The Heroes of Legend learn the truth behind the towers from Pandemonium and Subspace. Remembering how Marth activated the tower in Subspace, Zombie Wasp releases Marth from imprisonment and forces him to help them. Marth agrees to help the Heroes of Legend, as he has no other option. Marth then joins the Heroes of Legend.

During the remainder of Season 33, the Heroes of Legend descend further into insanity, but are ultimately defeated by the other heroes and villains. After being defeated, Bowser and Mewtwo help Roy, Link, and Kirby defeat and seal Ganondorf away. Bowser then proceeds to reset the Smash World, erasing everyone's memories of the Heroes of Legend with the exception of the other heroes and villains.

In Season 34, the Heroes of Legend battle against Dark Samus, Fawful, and Ganondorf, but learn that Mephiles was possessing Master Hand, making him the true mastermind behind everything that has happened. After Mephiles flees, the Heroes of Legend enter the second Neo Smash Champion Tourney in order to stop Ganondorf and Mechtavius Destroyer. During this time, Samus and Sasuke leave the Heroes of Legend, with Samus having lost her sanity and Sasuke wanting revenge on Tobi after learning that Tobi is actually Obito Uchiha. However, Sasuke and Samus later rejoin the Heroes of Legend after Team Corruption is dissolved due to the fact that they have been working with the Heroes of Legend despite their defection. In addition, Fawful joins the Heroes of Legend as a temporary member due to being a part of Team Corruption.

Phazon Transformation and Defection[]

When Team Ganon and the Revolutionaries make their move, the Heroes of Legend continue to fight back, but due to absorbing massive amounts of Phazon within Subspace, the Heroes of Legend become 100% corrupted by the Phazon Corruption. However, rather than dying from it, the Heroes of Legend somehow become pure Phazon. Later, the Heroes of Legend are provided with Phazon Containment Devices that Iron Man created so that they can return to Earth without endangering it. Unfortunately, when King Dedede demands that the Heroes of Legend need to return to the Brawl Spectator Society HQ and stay in a containment cell he prepared for them, the Heroes of Legend refuse to cooperate, with Sasuke stating that the Heroes of Legend don't take orders from inferior beings, and flee to the Floating Isle of the Ancients, where it is revealed that the Heroes of Legend had Tikal begin the mass production of Subspace Bombs for their new plan. The Heroes of Legend are then confronted by Wolf O'Donnell, who reveals his true intentions to them. This enrages Bowser, resulting in a brief conflict between the Heroes of Legend and Wolf before the latter is sealed away by Tobi. The Heroes of Legend then get involved in a conflict with Team Ganon, Madara Uchiha, Ghirahim, Sigma, and Dark Samus as well as fending off the Brawl Spectator Society. However, after Sigma's soul is integrated into Mecha Sally, the Heroes of Legend retreat after refusing to return to the Brawl Spectator Society HQ.

The Endgame Begins[]

The Heroes of Legend later head to Norfair, where Bowser reveals he has secretly been ressurecting the Shroobs, but never found any need to awaken them. Deciding to accelerate their plans, Sasuke contacts Ridley, who has been acting as a triple agent, to locate the League of Villains in order to initiate their plan. Sasuke then tells the rest of the Heroes of Legend that they are about to go down a path that they can't turn back on, and asks if they have any regrets. However, the Heroes of Legend are interrupted by the arrival of Mecha Sally and Mecha Ino, who have gotten into a conflict on how to deal with the Heroes of Legend. Sonic manages to break up the fight, but Mechtavius Destroyer and his allies arrive along with the Brawl Spectator Society, resulting in a fierce battle between the Heroes of Legend, Mechtavius Destroyer, Ganondorf, Tobi, Madara, Ghirahim, Dark Samus, Mecha Sally, Ridley, Mecha Ino, Kirby, Meta Knight, Captain Falcon, Solid Snake, Jigglypuff, Roy, Fox McCloud, Falco Lombardi, Pit, Bandanna Dee, Galacta Knight, the Meta-Knights, and the Helper Squad. During the fight, Sasuke and Bowser reveal the Heroes of Legend's motivations are to establish their own identities, and no longer care about the respect of others or their friends, and they only want to prove their existence. In the end, Naruto and Kirby exchange blows, and after Naruto puts all his faith in Kirby, and the battle is left with no outcome as the Heroes of Legend flee once again after unlocking everyone's memories.

Conspiracy Revealed and Rise to Power[]

During the finale of Season 34, the Heroes of Legend battle alongside Mechtavius Destroyer, Ganondorf, Kirby, and Ridley against Midna and win. However, following this, the Heroes of Legend stray from the path of good once again, and it is revealed that they have been conspiring with Mechtavius Destroyer since the reset to remake the world in their image. Eventually, the Heroes of Legend, Creator's Triune, and Offspring of Zorc battle against Nazo and win, gaining his power and becoming the new Creators. After severing their ties with Mechtavius Destroyer and Ganondorf as well as taking command of the Revolutionaries, the Heroes of Legend declare that this is the new beginning.

Descent to Insanity[]

Later, the Heroes of Legend are briefly overthrown by the reincarnated Madara Uchiha, who reveals that he was responsible for Midna's current mindset and Kakashi's unintentional role in helping Obito Uchiha succeed with the Nine-Tailed Fox's attack on the Hidden Leaf Village. This information, combined with the unexpected knowledge that Maria Robotnik survived the Space Colony ARK incident and became a Revolutionary, causes the Heroes of Legend to begin questioning their existence. However, the Heroes of Legend eventually decide to remind the Smash World who the true Creator really is, and successfully overthrow Madara. Upon succeeding with this task, Sasuke makes a broadcast to the dimensions and declares that the Heroes of Legend are not Madara's allies, but that he opened their eyes to the corruption of the Smash World, and proceeds to split the Earth into two, with the old Earth having the regular civilians on it and the new Earth having the Smashers on it. Sasuke then has Shadow unleash the Eclipse Cannon on the old Earth, and informs the dimensions that they will be allowed to live as long as they obey the Heroes of Legend or face the threat of death. At this point, the Heroes of Legend have lost their sanity, as Shadow states that the Heroes of Legend's only purpose is to validate their existence and reshape the world as they see fit.

Deterioration, Reformation, and Dimensional Unity[]

Later, the Heroes of Legend begin to deteriorate when Sasuke begins killing those who have wronged the Heroes of Legend as well as the Uchiha Clan, causing tension within the Heroes of Legend as their pasts are exposed during this time. The Heroes of Legend's deterioration ultimately becomes apparent when Sasuke becomes the vessel for the Dark Star X, as he reveals that he has been using the Heroes of Legend the whole time, hence why he refused to let them redeem themselves. Although Naruto attempts to save Sasuke from his path of revenge, Sasuke emerges victorious over Naruto and defects from the Heroes of Legend to avenge the Uchiha Clan. Metal Sonic also defects from the Heroes of Legend due to regaining his previously damaged memories and Mecha Sally's death, which renews Metal Sonic's goal of killing Sonic. During the final battle to determine the fate of the world, Sonic leaves the Heroes of Legend after Sonic.exe informs him that Metal Sonic's primary reason for resenting him is because Metal Sonic viewed Dr. Robotnik as his father, and never experienced the feeling of having bonds with others, and despises Sonic for not only having such things, but causing Metal Sonic to suffer in the process, resulting in Sonic wanting to make amends for his past mistakes while no longer feeling fit to lead the Heroes of Legend after Sasuke's actions caused them to fall apart. Following the final battle against Kabuto Yakushi, Princess Peach leaves the Heroes of Legend to become the sole Creator of the Smash World. Unfortunately, Bowser later defects from the Heroes of Legend, having lost his faith in the world and now desires to destroy it. During the conflict with Sonic.exe, Mewtwo puts himself between Sonic.exe's tendrill attack and Naruto, Sasuke, Zero, Sonic, Shadow, and Kirby, sacrificing his life in the process. Later, despite Bowser's defection, Mario intercepts Sasuke's attempt to kill Bowser by taking the Chidori himself in order to keep Peach from becoming like Sasuke at the cost of his own life. Later, when Zero is fully awakened, Bass becomes disillusioned due to how far everyone has fallen and leaves the Heroes of Legend, although he returns to help the Heroes of Legend during the second half of the conflict with Sonic.exe after Zombie Wolverine sacrifices himself to protect Luigi and Pichu. After Sonic.exe's defeat, Mewtwo, Mario, and Zombie Wolverine are revived to aide in the Heroes of Legend's new mission to save Peach and Bowser from the path of revenge.

Kabuto's Final Plan, Death Sentence, Rebirth, and Final Hours[]

In Season 36, the Heroes of Legend, with the help of Sonic, Sasuke, Metal Sonic, Bass, Bowser, and Peach battle against the Heroes of the World after their friends are infected by the EXE Virus, and ultimately prevail at the cost of the Heroes of the World's lives. After their friends are recreated, the Heroes of Legend vow to avoid repeating their mistakes that led to the deaths of the Heroes of the World, ultimately putting them at odds with the Revolutionaries, who have now united under their original goal of destroying the Creator. The Heroes of Legend later learn from Kevin that Kabuto was responsible for the deaths of the Heroes of the World, as he had convinced Sonic.exe to infect the Heroes of the World for his own goals, and proceed to expose Kabuto's true nature in front of the Revolutionaries. The Heroes of Legend then convince Shadow not to destroy humanity with the Eclipse Cannon by reminding him that they are the reason why the Heroes of the World died, and then proceed to remake the world by absorbing all the negative energy of the old Smash World and remaking it completely. However, the Heroes of Legend are later ambushed by the Revolutionaries, who reveal to the Heroes of Legend that Kabuto has finally died, but are still going to carry out his plans. The Heroes of Legend then engage the Revolutionaries in combat once more, ultimately forcing the Revolutionaries to retreat after realizing that the Heroes of the World's spirits are now a part of the Dimensional Core. Unfortunately, the Heroes of Legend later realize that the Kabuto Virus is slowly killing them. Deciding to visit the memorial statues of the Heroes of the World at EXE City, the Heroes of Legend are confronted by Meta Knight, who reveals that Batman told him about the Heroes of the World. However, the Heroes of Legend refuse to answer Meta Knight's questions, only stating that their deaths will bring eternal peace to the Smash World. After Meta Knight leaves, the Heroes of Legend resolve to use their final moments to put an end to the Revolutionaries' plans once and for all, unaware that the Shinigami Ryuk, who served as an ally to the Heroes of Legend before their official formation, decided to write the Heroes of Legend's names in his Death Note after they left to end their suffering peacefully. With this information, Sonic.exe challenges the Heroes of Legend to one final battle with the Revolutionaries. Despite being weakened by the Kabuto Virus, the Heroes of Legend ultimately regain the strength they need to overpower the Revolutionaries after the former members of the Heroes of the World sacrifice themselves to protect the Heroes of Legend. With the Revolutionaries clearly overpowered, Sonic.exe uses Ryuk's Death Note to kill himself while accepting defeat on the Revolutionaries' behest. As a result of this, and Sonic.exe modifying the Heroes of Legend's cause of death to occur after their victory, the Heroes of Legend begin to succumb to the fatal effects of the Kabuto Virus. Using the last ounce of their strength, the Heroes of Legend extract every trace of the Kabuto Virus from the Smash World to ensure that their friends aren't infected and killed by the Kabuto Virus again. With the Smash World finally safe, the Heroes of Legend embrace their fate and die from the Kabuto Virus. However, the Heroes of Legend are quickly revived by Master Hand, who states that there are many trials ahead for the Smash World and the Heroes of Legend need to prepare for his return. Unfortunately, it is later revealed that Master Hand was possessed by Kabuto Yakushi, who engineered the Heroes of Legend's demise so that his spirit could possess Master Hand. The Heroes of Legend then attempt to stop Kabuto, the ressurected Sonic.exe, and Solaris from destroying the Smash World, but the Kabuto Virus (which Kabuto purposely left in them) takes its toll on the Heroes of Legend and they are brutally beaten by Kabuto, Sonic.exe, and Solaris. The Heroes of Legend then reveal the full extent of their corruption to the Heroes of the World and explain that they won't allow their power to hurt them again. The Heroes of Legend are then beaten further, causing the Heroes of the World to tap into their EXE power in order to protect the Heroes of Legend. Amazed by their friends' power, the Heroes of Legend give their energy to the Heroes of the World so that they can destroy Kabuto once and for all. However, the Heroes of Legend flee during the chaos, aware that the Death Note is still going to cause them to die from the Kabuto Virus in a few days. On their way to their castle, the Heroes of Legend begin to reminisce about their pasts and have an emotional breakdown as they realize that they are about to die. The Heroes of Legend then arrive at their castle, but collapse on the stairs leading up to the main lobby. Too weak to move, the Heroes of Legend have a vision of the Heroes of the World's past incarnation that died from the EXE Virus, and smile with the knowledge that they can finally join the Heroes of the World that they knew in the afterlife. However, the Heroes of the World, the Justice League, and the Revolutionaries find the Heroes of Legend due to Wolverine's enhanced senses before they can pass away. Despite the Heroes of Legend's attempts to convince their friends to let them move on, the Heroes of the World, the Justice League, and the Revolutionaries put the Heroes of Legend on stretchers to get them medical attention, with Batman reminding the Heroes of Legend that just as they said that the Heroes of the World's lives are more important than their own, the Heroes of Legend's lives are more important to the Heroes of the World than their own.

Death and Reincarnation[]

After being brought to Smash City's hospital, the Heroes of Legend are approached by Sonic.exe, who reveals his complete involvement in the events of their lives as well as the formation of the Smash World, and cruelly tells them to keep things interesting for him. With a limited amount of time left and the information that their entire lives were set up by Sonic.exe, the Heroes of Legend contact Justice Lord Superman and blackmail him into clearing the Revolutionaries of all charges, shutting down Cocoon Academy, contributing to the research of the Kabuto Virus, and revealing to the public how much of a tyrant he is by using Ryuk's Death Note to kill the other Justice Lords (excluding Justice Lord Batman) and Justice Lord Superman's loved ones. While this does cause Justice Lord Superman to be arrested for attacking the Heroes of Legend, the Heroes of Legend find themselves under the surveilance of Shuichi Aizawa. Rather than attempt to convince Aizawa that they are innocent, however, the Heroes of Legend reveal that they aren't ready to die, but realize they cannot overpower the Death Note. When Worton then suggests that the Cosmic Cube may help cure the Heroes of Legend, the Heroes of Legend are left alone with the Death Note by Aizawa and the Bakugan as they, along with the Heroes of the World, the Revolutionaries, and the Justice League, attempt to find the Cosmic Cube. Sonic.exe then appears before the Heroes of Legend and reveals that he has the Cosmic Cube, and attempts to threaten the Heroes of Legend into killing their friends or else he will use the Cosmic Cube to undo every alteration of history they made. However, the Heroes of Legend manage to steal the Cosmic Cube from Sonic.exe and use it to seal him back in the EXE world and seal Starly in the Scepter of Darkness. No longer willing to wait for death, the Heroes of Legend contact Aizawa to tell Batman that they have the Cosmic Cube but will give it to Ryuk to take back to the Shinigami Realm, and tell the Heroes of the World, the Justice League, and the Revolutionaries to come to their hospital room. Zombie Wasp then proceeds to write Justice Lord Superman's name down in the Death Note and alters the Heroes of Legend's cause of death so that they die after imparting their final words to their friends. When the Heroes of Legend's friends arrive, the Heroes of Legend reveal that they did kill the Justice Lords and Justice Lord Superman's loved ones to show Justice Lord Superman the pain they felt when the Heroes of the World died. The Heroes of Legend then state that they are proud of how far their friends have come, and thank them for trying to help them before truly dying from the Kabuto Virus. While the Heroes of the World and the Justice League resolved to uphold the peace that the Heroes of Legend sacrificed everything for, Master Hand proceeded to reincarnate the Heroes of Legend without the memories of their recent past. As the reborn Heroes of Legend begin to wake up, Sonic thanks Master Hand for giving the Heroes of Legend another chance at life, as Peach's spell from the first cycle allowed Sonic to keep his memories.

Renewed Conflict With the Revolutionaries and Project: Utopia[]

In Season 38, the Heroes of Legend return to Smash City after Superman announces his plan of Project: Utopia, a joint project between the Heroes of the World, the Justice League, and the people of the Smash World to uphold the peace that the Heroes of Legend died to achieve. During this time, the Heroes of Legend comment on how strange it is that they aren't that different from before they died and how weird it is to no longer be made of Phazon. However, the Heroes of Legend are then approached by Dynamo, a new member of the Revolutionaries, who reveals (without exposing the Revolutionaries) that he and his allies intend to destroy Master Hand for doing nothing while his creations fought to save the Smash World from Sonic.exe and Kabuto Yakushi and tells them to head to the opening ceremony of Smash University while leaving Sonic worried when he reveals that Amy Rose is on the Revolutionaries' side, as Tails told Sonic that Amy went missing after his death. The Heroes of Legend then arrive at Smash University's opening ceremony where Tony Stark and Bruce Wayne remind the public that they are both providing fundings for Cocoon Academy as they call Princess Elise to cut the ribbon for the official opening of Smash University. However, the ceremony is attacked by the Egg Carrier, causing the Heroes of Legend to realize that Dynamo is a part of the Revolutionaries. When Dynamo, Miror B., and a disguised Amy Rose, attempt to convince the public to help them destroy Master Hand, with Amy stating that the Smash World either has a useless god (Master Hand) or a demon who wants their destruction (Mephiles) controlling them when they are perfectly capable of managing without a god, Sonic generates a whirlwind to get the Revolutionaries' attention while trying to find out why Amy would ever join the Revolutionaries, with Dynamo and Amy challenging the Heroes of Legend in response, telling them that if they want answers they have to fight them. When Batman explains that the Heroes of Legend can't fight near Smash University, Shadow prepares to use Chaos Control, only for the Heroes of Legend to discover that they no longer have the Chaos Emeralds when Dynamo throws Shadow the red Chaos Emerald. Shadow then uses Chaos Control to teleport the Heroes of Legend and the Revolutionaries to a tropical island, although he intended to go to New Vestroia to get the Bakugan since he recalled them leaving as the Heroes of Legend died. Upon arriving on the island, the Heroes of Legend have the Chaos Emerald taken by Mecha Sonic, who reveals that Amy, Mecha Sally, and Gwen vowed vengeance against Master Hand after the Heroes of Legend died, and explains that the Revolutionaries have no intention of destroying the peace of the Smash World. The Heroes of Legend then learn that the Revolutionaries captured Ryuk, and therefore have Sonic.exe's disc seal, the Scepter of Darkness, the Cosmic Cube, and the Death Note as well as the Chaos Emeralds. Vegeta then challenges the Revolutionaries, stating that the Heroes of Legend chose to speed up their deaths and that Master Hand is no longer the Creator, as the Heroes of Legend are now the Creators. However, the battle is left inconclusive after Zero states that the Heroes of Legend aren't capable of defeating the Revolutionaries. The Heroes of Legend then begin to consider their next course of action, with Sasuke even suggesting that the Heroes of Legend destroy Master Hand personally, although the Heroes of Legend resolve to simply retrieve the Chaos Emeralds from the Revolutionaries. The Heroes of Legend then pursue the Revolutionaries to their secret base located under the Subspace portal, where they briefly battle against Sigma before they learn that Kabuto is alive through a computer program containing his personality. The Heroes of Legend then engage Starly in combat after she is released from the Scepter of Darkness by Kabuto, where they proceed to break the limitations imposed by Master Hand and defeat Starly for the time being. The Heroes of Legend then flee from the base after it begins to sink due to internal damage and head to Peach's Castle with the Bakugan.

The Rebellion[]

The Heroes of Legend are later ambushed by the Revolutionaries, where they learn that Sonic.exe has escaped his prison thanks to Blaze. The Heroes of Legend are then forced to fight against a group of armored soldiers serving the Revolutionaries, who are able to counter the Heroes of Legend's every move effortlessly. Unable to do anything until Mega Man X destroys the armor, the Heroes of Legend are horrified to learn that the armored soldiers are actually the reanimated bodies of the Heroes of Legend's past incarnation. However, the Heroes of Legend shake it off and engage their past selves in combat until the deceased Heroes of Legend sacrifice themselves to save X from Mechtavius Destroyer. After their past selves restore the Heroes of Legend's power and memories, the Heroes of Legend ascend past Level 10 and brutally defeat Mechtavius Destroyer after he insults their past incarnation. However, the Heroes of Legend are caught off guard when the Revolutionaries seal Sonic.exe and Mechtavius Destroyer away again while declaring their new intentions to destroy the Smash World as they have no reason to spare it anymore, much to the Heroes of Legend's despair. Despite the brutality displayed by both Obito and Gwen, the battle ultimately ends with the Heroes of Legend's victory when Ryuk uses the Death Note to kill Gwen.

Surveilance, Mental Breakdown, Defection, Declaration of War, and Redemption[]

The Heroes of Legend head to Station Square's hotel following the battle at Peach's Castle, but are soon confronted by Dimentio who reveals that Midna has entered the second phase of her plan to eliminate those that she deems evil and that Darkstar has captured the reincarnated Gwen to prove his worth to the Revolutionaries. Ben leaves the hotel upon learning about this, prompting the other Heroes of Legend, with the exception of Sakura and Sasuke, to go after Ben, with Shadow telling Aizawa that if the Heroes of Legend stop by HQ, it is because they fear they will become corrupted. Unfortunately, Sasuke abandons the Heroes of Legend after they leave despite Sakura's protests, and due to Midna deciding to kill Mello with the Death Note, the Heroes of Legend are forced by Batman to return to Station Square's hotel and be put under Aizawa, Hideki Ide, and Touta Matsuda's surveilance to prove their innocence. Upon returning, the Heroes of Legend, like in their final hours, don't attempt to prove their innocence (despite having done nothing wrong) to Aizawa, Ide, and Matsuda, but reveal everything that has happened since their fall from grace, with Zombie Wasp breaking down in tears at how the Heroes of Legend have been fighting to bring peace for years and having to suffer for it, revealing the reason the Heroes of Legend listened to Sasuke after becoming pure Phazon was because having it cured would leave the Heroes of Legend vunerable and that the Heroes of Legend never wanted to become the new Creators. When Matsuda asks the Heroes of Legend what they want, Zombie Wasp says that the Heroes of Legend want their existence to be acknowledged for who they are as individuals and that they want the Heroes of the World's previous incarnation to come back, revealing that the only thing keeping the Heroes of Legend sane is the Heroes of the World's current incarnation's safety, with Vegeta tearfully stating that the reborn Heroes of the World cannot replace the Heroes of the World who died from the Kabuto Virus, causing Aizawa and Ide to become unsure if the Heroes of Legend are guilty or not. However, the Heroes of Legend later begin another descent into darkness after Kabuto is ressurected, as they have grown weary of the conflict against evil when their only reward is suffering and, despite encouraging the Heroes of the World to defeat Kabuto for good, steal Ryuk's Death Note from Midna and use it to kill Kabuto permanently. When Near, who had joined the surveilance, informs Batman of what he has learned, Batman tearfully initiates a plan to confirm the Heroes of Legend's mental state by telling everyone to gather at Princess Peach's Castle except for the Revolutionaries, with the Revolutionaries' attempt to kill Near and the former Kira Task Force not only revealing that Shadow's attempt to swap the real Death Note with a fake one and give the real one to the Revolutionaries to kill Near, Aizawa, Ide, Matsuda, and Mogi was thwarted due to Near swapping the fake notebook with the real Death Note in secret, but exposing the Heroes of Legend's insanity while Sasuke rejoins the Heroes of Legend due to the current situation. The Heroes of Legend then attempt to justify their actions to the Heroes of the World and the Justice League, only to be met with disappointment by their former allies. Batman then attempts to reach the Heroes of Legend by saying that Project: Utopia is nearly finished, only to be mortified when Shadow reveals that the Heroes of Legend are going to eradicate humanity, citing that humanity's greed is what made Kabuto and Sonic.exe the individuals they are today before brutally beating Batman. Superman then attacks Shadow in anger while stating that while he does feel sorry for what the Heroes of Legend had to endure, he will not allow them to eradicate humanity before unleashing the full extent of his power against Shadow. Realizing that the Heroes of the World and the Justice League can match their power, the Heroes of Legend flee with the Revolutionaries to Subspace, with Obito declaring that the Heroes of the World's act of defiance against the Heroes of Legend will cost them greatly, declaring the start of the Second Dimensional War as a result. Upon arriving in Subspace, specifically the Heroes of Legend's castle, Sonic breaks down in tears at what the Heroes of Legend have become, with Mecha Sally attempting to comfort him. The Heroes of Legend are later confronted by Batman, who helps the Heroes of Legend realize the error of their ways. The Heroes of Legend then proceed to sever the link between Subspace and the Smash World to seal themselves away, with Batman willingly staying behind to help the Heroes of Legend regain their sanity and joins the Heroes of Legend as a reserve member.

Fractured Minds[]

With Batman's help, the Heroes of Legend are able to regain their sanity, as they are now willing to fight against evil forces once again. Unfortunately, the Heroes of Legend display a more agressive side to their personality during the fight with Kabuto after he pushes them too far, and it is hinted that the Heroes of Legend have developed a split personality due to the stress of the constant battles against evil. Batman attempts to remedy this by calling Red over to help due to his history as a psychologist. However, Kabuto Yakushi, in an effort to justify his actions, has revived Light Yagami, the criminal known as Kira, to determine this. To make matters worse, Light begins trying to unleash the Heroes of Legend's hatred by revealing that Ryuk wrote their names, as well the names of the Heroes of the World, the Revolutionaries, and the League of Villains, in the Death Note to die at the end of their natural lifespans, causing the Heroes of Legend to lose trust in Batman and causing their mental states to deteriorate further. However, the Heroes of Legend's instability reaches its peak when the Revolutionaries begin their final assault, as the Heroes of Legend begin attempting to kill everyone present at the battlefield, forcing Master Hand's offspring to enter the fray which leads to their deaths at the hands of the Heroes of Legend. The Heroes of Legend then flee to the gates of EXE City, where they are confronted by Batman. Batman then confirms that the strain of the war with the Revolutionaries is slowly killing the Heroes of Legend, prompting Batman to take the Heroes of Legend to the hospital after reminding them of their vow to avoid repeating their past mistake and how he is able to sympathize with them, even remaining in their hospital room despite being told to leave in order to prove that he can be trusted. After an MRI scan, the Heroes of Legend are revealed to have Multiple-Personality Disorder, and that their strained hearts have healed considerably without a scientific explaination, due to Ryuk sacrificing himself to kill Light for the Heroes of Legend's safety. The Heroes of Legend are then released from the hospital, but remain under Batman's supervision due to their instability.

Midna's Return and Fall from Grace[]

In an attempt to help the Heroes of Legend's condition, Batman brings the group to Smash University in the hopes of seeing if the Heroes of Legend can manage in an environment filled with the laughter of innocent children without going beserk due to their tragic past. However, Peach collapses in pain on the way to the classroom due to her Cursed Seal of Heaven reactivating, causing the Heroes of Legend to suspect that Midna survived. However, the Heroes of Legend are then knocked out by a specter of Midna's imp form, and the Heroes of Legend (excluding Batman) are taken to the Factory, where they are sent to Lyoko with their Bakugan allies. The Heroes of Legend are then ambushed by Midna, who proceeds to battle them with the intent of killing all of them except for Peach since the Heroes of Legend are still needed by the Revolutionaries. Even when Batman comes to the Heroes of Legend's aide, Midna is still too powerful for the Heroes of Legend to beat until they see Kabuto's broadcast of the Revolutionaries' battle with Superman, who states that he won't stop the Heroes of Legend if they choose to become criminals and that he trusts them completely, giving the Heroes of Legend the will to overpower Midna, with Peach even brutally beating Midna for ruining her life. However, Midna flees when Peach chooses not to kill her, prompting the Heroes of Legend to leave Lyoko in order to help Superman. Unfortunately, Midna is ressurected due to the fact that she spit her blood on Peach's Cursed Seal of Heaven to restore her physical form with the Evil Release Method. Despite this, the Heroes of Legend head to Metropolis, where Superman is fighting the Revolutionaries, and help Superman in his struggle with the Revolutionaries. As the battle goes on, however, the Heroes of Legend begin losing control of themselves, and go on a tirade about how the Smash World will always view them as either weapons of mass destruction or the only saviors the Smash World has, and even threaten to destroy the Smash World themselves. However, the Heroes of the World, the Justice League, and the people of Metropolis state that they don't need the Heroes of Legend anymore as they taught them to not be dependent on others while stating that they aren't afraid to defy the Creators. The Heroes of Legend then retreat to Subspace, prompting Batman to reveal to the public that the Heroes of Legend have split personality disorder while Superman states that until the public accepts the Heroes of Legend for what they are, then neither he or Batman will defend them from the Heroes of Legend's eventual wrath. Batman and Superman then return to Subspace where the Heroes of Legend break down in tears at how the Smash World has abandoned them and that they are truly alone, with Batman stating that he and Superman understand that their actions aren't entirely their fault, prompting the Heroes of Legend to reveal that they now trust Batman again as well as Superman.

Conflict with Bills and Redemption[]

Following their fall from grace, the Heroes of Legend are told by Batman and Superman to gather in the lobby of their castle, where Batman and Superman inform them of Bills, a God of Destruction who was sealed away by Master Hand, and how the seal was broken when the Heroes of Legend killed Master Hand's offspring and that Bills is on his way to fight them. However, the Heroes of Legend are eager to face Bills due to their lack of concern for the Smash World, prompting Batman to tell them to contain their emotions when Bills enters the lobby. Bills then proceeds to blast the Heroes of Legend out of their own castle, and engages in a titanic clash with the Heroes of Legend, the Heroes of the World, the Revolutionaries, and the League of Villains. Despite fighting with the intent to kill Bills after learning he was behind the High Minds, using their full power, and summoning the Mechtogan to aide them in battle, the Heroes of Legend are unable to beat Bills, and the situation worsens when the Revolutionaries leave to find Master Hand in the Plane of Non-Existence without telling them. However, the Heroes of Legend refuse to surrender to Bills and begin to overpower him as the rest of their allies arrive to aide them due to a broadcast made by Miller and the Revolutionaries return to the battlefield, ultimately managing to defeat Bills. When Bills questions how he lost, the Heroes of Legend back up Superman's claim that anyone can achieve their kind of greatness while expressing that their fight was the first time they have had fun in a battle since the deaths of the Heroes of the World. After Whis puts Bills back to sleep for another 3 years, the Heroes of Legend, convinced that their allies from the Smash World are going to arrest them, state that they are willingly turning themselves in, only for Near to say that they are letting the Heroes of Legend off the hook due to their instability and will let them return to the Smash World on the condition that Batman and Superman must accompany them and they must follow whatever orders Batman and Superman give them, but will not hesitate to put the Heroes of Legend out of commission if they step out of line again. However, the relief is turned to shock when the Revolutionaries reveal that Kabuto Yakushi's soul has been restored due to a contengincy plan he set up long before his death, with Batman theorizing that since Kabuto's clone fled to Lyoko before the battle with Bills, then Kabuto is most likely still onboard the Space Colony ARK, which Kabuto then confirms by contacting Batman while stating that he will let everyone live for a while since they are still exhausted from the fight with Bills, allowing the Heroes of Legend to recuperate and prepare for the storm that is to come.

Heroes of Legend[]

Bakugan[]

Fusion Technique[]

In the second arc of Season 20 onward, the Heroes of Legend begin using fusion. There are 2 methods of pulling off the fusion.

Heroes of Legend Version 1[]

The Heroes of Legend that intend to fuse must throw their Smash Core fragments at each other. Once the fragments collide, the Heroes of Legend will combine into a new form. This method of fusion can be interrupted, as shown when Broly caught Goku's Smash Core fragment, cancelling the fusion.

Version 2[]

After the Heroes of Legend unlocked LV 10, they started to use a new method of fusion based off the Dark Heroes of Legend's fusion, except that one Hero of Legend that intends to fuse becomes a light body of energy and fuses with the Hero of Legend they wish to fuse with.

Dark Heroes of Legend[]

The Dark Heroes of Legend use a different method of fusion. First, the Dark Heroes of Legend that intend to fuse become Smash Core fragments and touch each other. Unlike the Heroes of Legend's fusion technique, this fusion can't be stopped as the fragments lock-on target with each other and will pierce the hand of whoever tries to stop it. When the fusion is successful, a dark red aura emerges in a circular form, with the fused warrior inside when the fusion is finished.

Combinations so far[]

Pichu + Psycho Kirby = Psycho Pichu : The first fusion introduced along with Super Fabia. Psycho Pichu has Pichu's body and Psycho Kirby's face, though the mouth is smaller. Psycho Pichu can use the Star Rod, since Psycho Kirby was a component in the fusion.

Goku + Fabia Sheen = Super Fabia : The first fusion introduced along with Psycho Pichu. Super Fabia has Fabia's body and eyes and her Neathian crown, but has Goku's clothes and his Super Saiyan hairstyle, with the hair being both black and blue, except in Super Saiyan form, where it is blonde. Super Fabia has access to both the Fire Flower and the Super Scope. In Season 23, Goku and Fabia fused again, but while Goku was in his Super Saiyan 4 form. This version of Super Fabia has the trademark red fur of a Super Saiyan 4, but wears Goku's blue undershirt due to Fabia being female. In addition, Super Fabia possesses a tail as a Super Saiyan 4.

Psycho Kirby + Fabia Sheen = Psycho Fabia : The second fusion introduced along with Super Pichu. Psycho Fabia has Fabia's Neathian eyes, hair, and crown, and Psycho Kirby's body and mouth. Psycho Fabia has access to both the Star Rod and the Super Scope. This fusion was later used again during the invasion of the Skrull homeworld. The fusion is mostly the same, except that Psycho Fabia was surrounded by a dark aura, a trait shared by all Dark Heroes of Legend.

Pichu + Goku = Super Pichu : The second fusion introduced along with Psycho Fabia. Super Pichu has Pichu's body, but with orange and blue markings that resemble Goku's outfit. Super Pichu has access to the Fire Flower, since Goku was a component in the fusion.

Psycho Kirby + Sonic the Hedgehog = Psycho Sonic : The third fusion introduced. Psycho Sonic has Sonic's quills and shoes, and Psycho Kirby's face and body. Psycho Sonic has access to both the Parasol and Star Rod. In Season 23, Psycho Sonic used the Interchangable part of Fusion for the first time. In the inverted form, Psycho Sonic has Sonic's face, arms, and legs, and Psycho Kirby's body and shoes.

Goku + Psycho Kirby + Pichu = Super Psycho Pichu : The fourth fusion introduced, and the first 3 person fusion. Super Psycho Pichu has Psycho Kirby's body and face and a Pichu hat with long golden hair flowing underneath, since Goku was in Super Saiyan 3 during the fusion. Super Psycho Pichu has access to the Star Rod and the Fire Flower.

Sakura Haruno + Sellon + Zombie Wasp = Zombie Sakulon : The fourth fusion introduced along with Super Psycho Pichu. Sellon's body is more dominant, but her sleeves have been replaced with Sakura's gloves, and her hair is replaced with Sakura's hair, and she also possesses Zombie Wasp's wings and teeth. This is, notably, the first fusion that didn't have a name. It was later named by Sakulon, the fusion of Sakura and Sellon alone.

Naruto Uzumaki + Goku + Sellon = Nakulon : The fifth fusion introduced and the seventh one overall. Sellon suspected the Porygons were getting help during their fight with Goku, and fused with him to reveal this, with Naruto joining in on the fusion. Nakulon has Sellon's hair (although the hair was golden since Goku was in Super Saiyan 2 during the fusion), face and sleek body (despite this, Nakulon is male), Naruto's headband and sandals, and Goku's clothes. Oddly, Goku's clothes are inverted, with the undershirt becoming orange and the shirt and pants becoming blue, with the wristbands becoming black. This is, notably, the only fusion involving Goku that doesn't have "Super" in the name, and also the only one not named by the fused Hero of Legend himself. rather it was named by Marik.

Naruto Uzumaki + Anubias + Sellon : The sixth fusion introduced, and the eighth one overall. This is, so far, the strongest fusion, as Naruto, Anubias, and Sellon were in LV 3 of the Smash Core, one of the strongest Levels of the Smash Core. Naruto's body is dominant, though his hair is white like Anubias and his headband is around his neck as the crust on Anubias's forehead is in its place, and this fused Hero of Legend is a Neathian like Sellon. This is the second unnamed fusion to appear, the first being Sakura, Sellon, and Zombie Wasp's fusion.

Ren Krawler + Sasuke Uchiha OR Anubias + Sasuke Uchiha = Thunder Sasuke : The seventh fusion introduced and the ninth one overall. This fusion surpasses the sixth fusion, since Ren and Sasuke were in LV 4 of the Smash Core, although the fusion was weakened in its debut due to Patient Zero infecting Sonic before the fight began, and LV 4 caused the virus to speed up in spreading. Sasuke's body is dominant, with his hair being the same color as Ren's and having some features of Ren's Gundalian form. Sasuke also wears Ren's outfit in this fusion, but with the Uchiha Crest on the back. This is the first fusion that got the infamous "Holy (BEEP) on a (BEEP) sandwich" response, as Yami Bakura said this line after the fusion was finished. This fusion was later used during the battle against the Dark Heroes of Legend, except Anubias fused with Sasuke. This version of the fusion is nearly identical to Sasuke and Ren's fusion, except Sasuke's clothes are replaced by Anubias' clothes, though again with the Uchiha crest on the back. This is the only fusion that can be formed by 2 different combinations, as long as Sasuke and a Gundalian, like Ren or Anubias is involved.

Sonic the Hedgehog + Samus Aran = Hyper Samus : The eighth fusion introduced and the tenth one overall. Sonic and Samus used this fusion during the struggle against Meta Knight. Samus' body is dominant, with the body of her power suit and arm cannon being the only parts of her Power Suit in the fusion, with her legs becoming sky blue like Sonic's and her arm without the cannon exposed with a glove on her hand. In addition, Samus' hair becomes sky blue in the same style as Hyper Sonic's, due to Sonic being in Ascent Mode at the time. However, this fusion was powerless against Meta Knight, who quickly overwhelmed it. This is the first fusion to have Samus involved in it.

Naruto Uzumaki + Zombie Spider-Man : The ninth fusion introduced and the eleventh one overall. Naruto and Zombie Spider-Man used this fusion to fight against the transformed Xaos. Naruto's body is dominant, with his orange jumpsuit being retained in the fusion, though the sleeves are replaced by Zombie Spider-Man's sleeves. Naruto's hair also happens to become brown on the sides, to reflect Zombie Spider-Man's hair color. This is the first fusion to have Zombie Spider-Man involved in it, which Pichu pointed out. This is the first fusion without a name that doesn't involve Sellon.

Fabia Sheen + Ren Krawler : The tenth fusion introduced and the twelfth overall. Fabia and Ren used this fusion during their battle against Gohan, Ben Tennyson, Azula, William Dunbar, and Crash Bandicoot. Fabia's body is dominant, though her clothes are replaced by Ren's clothing and her hair becomes white like Ren's. Like the Ultimate Fusion, Fabia's eyes are bichromatic, with her left eye being her own eye and the right eye being the same as Ren's eye. This is the first fusion involving Dark Heroes of Legend, and the second unnamed fusion that doesn't involve Sellon. This fusion reappears in Season 30 to fight Sakura, making this the second fusion involving the Dark Heroes of Legend to reappear as a normal fusion.

Psycho Kirby + Ren Krawler = Psycho Ren : The eleventh fusion introduced and the thirteenth overall. Psycho Kirby and Ren used this fusion to counter Sasuke and Anubias' fusion of Thunder Sasuke. Psycho Kirby's body is dominant, with his eyes and hair being the same as Ren's. This is the second fusion involving Dark Heroes of Legend.

Fabia Sheen + Sonic the Hedgehog = Sonica : The twelfth fusion introduced and the fourteenth overall. Fabia and Sonic used this fusion when Sakura and Sellon tried to save Thunder Sasuke (Sasuke + Anubias) from Psycho Ren (Psycho Kirby + Ren). Fabia's body is dominant, though her clothes are replaced by a sleeveless black shirt and matching black pants, and she wears Sonic's gloves and shoes. This is the third fusion involving Dark Heroes of Legend.

Sakura Haruno + Sellon = Sakulon : The thirteenth fusion introduced and the fifteenth overall. Sakura and Sellon used this fusion to counter Fabia and Sonic's fusion of Sonica. This fusion is identical to the Zombie Sakulon fusion, except Zombie Wasp's wings are absent, due to not being involved in the fusion, and this fusion warrior isn't zombified. This is the first fusion involving Sellon that was officially named by the fusion warrior.

Anubias + Sasuke Uchiha + Sakura Haruno + Sellon = Thunder Sakulon : The fourteenth fusion introduced and the sixteenth overall. Sakulon (Sakura + Sellon) and Thunder Sasuke (Sasuke + Anubias) used this fusion in order to concentrate better during the battle against the Dark Heroes of Legend. Thunder Sakulon has Sellon's body, though the sleeves are now replaced Sasuke's sleeves and Sakura's gloves, and her hair is the same as Sasuke's, though it is white like Anubias' hair, and the Uchiha crest is on the back. This is the first 4 person fusion, and the first fusion done by two fusion warriors.

Psycho Kirby + Ren Krawler + Fabia Sheen + Sonic the Hedgehog = Psycho Fabienic : The fifteenth fusion introduced and the seventeenth overall. Psycho Ren (Psycho Kirby + Ren) and Sonica (Fabia + Sonic) used this fusion to counter Thunder Sakulon (Anubias + Sasuke + Sakura + Sellon). Fabia's body is dominant, though her clothes are replaced by Ren's clothes, and she wears Sonic's gloves and shoes, and Fabia's mouth is replaced by a smaller version of Psycho Kirby's mouth. This is the second 4 person fusion and the second fusion done by two fusion warriors. Unlike other Dark Heroes of Legend fusions, where the fusion speaks with a combination of the materials' voices, this fusion uses Fabia's voice alone, though she does speak in a manner similar to Psycho Kirby. This fusion is later used again during The Final Battle: Part 2, making it the first Dark Hero of Legend to reappear as a Hero of Legend fusion.

Naruto Uzumaki + Goku + Zombie Spider-Man = Zombie Gokuto : The sixteenth fusion introduced and the eighteenth overall. Naruto, Goku, and Zombie Spider-Man used this fusion after Goku broke free from Wiseman's control. This fusion has Super Saiyan 3 Goku's body, with his undershirt being replaced by Zombie Spider-Man's shirt, his belt being replaced by Naruto's headband, and his boots being replaced by Naruto's sandals. This fusion is the second fusion to involve Zombie Spider-Man, and the second fusion involving Goku that doesn't have "Super" in the name.

Anubias + Sasuke Uchiha + Sakura Haruno + Sellon + Zombie Wasp = Zombie Thunder Sakulon : The seventeenth fusion introduced and the nineteenth fusion overall. This fusion is nearly identical to Thunder Sakulon, except it now has Zombie Wasp's wings and teeth. This is the first 5 person fusion in the series.

Psycho Kirby + Sakura Haruno = Psycho Sakura : The eighteenth fusion introduced and the 20th fusion overall. Psycho Sakura has Psycho Kirby's body and Sakura's hair. This is the first LV 10 fusion in the series, and the first to use the new form of fusion.

Psycho Kirby + Sasuke Uchiha + Fabia Sheen = Psycho Sasuke 1 : The nineteenth fusion introduced and the 21st fusion overall. Psycho Sasuke has Psycho Kirby's body and mouth, Sasuke's hair, and Fabia's crown and eyes. This is the first fusion involving Sasuke that lacks the Uchiha crest, though this is because Psycho Kirby doesn't wear clothes.

Gohan + Pichu = Gochu : The 20th fusion introduced and the 22nd fusion overall. Gochu has Pichu's body, and Gohan's clothes (smaller than normal to fit Pichu's body). This is the first fusion that involves Gohan, and the first Pichu fusion that doesn't have a title in it (ex: "Super" or "Psycho").

Sakura Haruno + Gohan + Pichu : The 21st fusion introduced and the 23rd fusion overall. This fusion is identical to Gochu, except it has Sakura's hair. This is one of the few fusions that have no name.

Zombie Spider-Man + Zombie Iron Man = Zombie Iron Spider : The 22nd fusion introduced and the 24th fusion overall. Zombie Spider-Man's body is dominant, though he now possesses a silver and black armor in this form, making him resemble an alternate version of Spider-Man that is a billionaire and has an identical armor. Oddly enough, Zombie Spider-Man's mouth is still visible, despite having armor covering his face.

Zombie Wasp + Zombie Wolverine + The Dark Surfer : The 23rd fusion introduced and the 25th fusion overall. Zombie Wasp's body is dominant, but her skin is the same color as The Dark Surfer and she wears Zombie Wolverine's costume instead of her normal costume, but Zombie Wasp's wings are still present.

Mario + Sonic the Hedgehog = Somari : The 24th fusion introduced and the 26th overall. Mario's body is dominant, but his outfit is now inverted and he has Sonic's green eyes. This fusion is a reference to Mario's blue palette swap in the Super Smash Bros. games.

Luigi + Shadow the Hedgehog = Shadow Luigi : The 25th fusion introduced and the 27th overall. Luigi's body is dominant, but his cap and overalls are now black while his shirt is red and he has Shadow's red eyes. This fusion is a reference to the Flying Mario power-up from Super Mario Galaxy, though Mario's eyes did not change color.

Yoshi + Silver the Hedgehog = Psychic Yoshi : The 26th fusion introduced and the 28th overall. Yoshi's body is dominant, but his colors are inverted, as his body is now white while his stomach is green. Unlike the two previous fusions, Psychic Yoshi is not a reference to anything. This is the first fusion to be renamed, as it was originally called Silver Yoshi.

Naruto Uzumaki + Zombie Spider-Man + Zombie Iron Man = Ninja Zombie Iron Spider : The 27th fusion introduced and the 29th overall. This fusion is nearly identical to Zombie Iron Spider, except Zombie Spider-Man's symbol is replaced by the symbol of the Hidden Leaf Village.

Zombie Spider-Man + Zombie Wasp + Dark Surfer = Silver Spider-Wasp : The 28th fusion introduced and the 30th overall. Zombie Wasp's body is dominant, though her usual costume is replaced by a sleeveless version of Zombie Spider-Man's, oddly without the mask, and her skin is the same as the Dark Surfer's. Again, Zombie Wasp's wings are retained in the fusion.

Zombie Wasp + Zombie Wolverine : The 29th fusion introduced and the 31st overall. This fusion is nearly identical to the fusion with the Dark Surfer, but Zombie Wasp no longer has his skin tone, as Dark Surfer is not a part of this fusion due to his death.

Ultimate Fusion[]

In addition to the fusions introduced so far, the Heroes of Legend can all fuse together at once. This fusion was used twice against Samus when she was corrupted by Ganondorf and the Ten-Tails and when she was possessed by Gigadark Bowser. It was also used in order to show Cell that just because Miles "Tails" Prower knows how to beat them individually, he doesn't know how to beat their combined form. Unlike the regular fusion, the other Heroes of Legend become Smash Core fragments and enter Naruto, Goku, Sonic, or Ben's body.

Smash Core Levels[]

In addition to their regular transformations, the Heroes of Legend have access to the Smash Core, which provides them with enhanced forms, or Levels.

LV 1: The base form of the Heroes of Legend.

LV 2: The second level of the Smash Core provides the Heroes of Legend with a little extra power.

LV 3: The third level of the Smash Core could only be accessed with the use of the Keys of Smash, which the Heroes of Legend managed to get.

LV 4: One of the stronger levels of the Smash Core. The Heroes of Legend unlocked this form after witnessing Samus ruthlessly murder Captain Falcon and Solid Snake. This form, along with Level 5, produces a vortex like aura that rises like fire.

LV 5: The sixth strongest level of the Smash Core. The Heroes of Legend unlocked this form after witnessing Tikal's death at the hands of Yami Bakura. This form is the only Level of the Smash Core that has been fully mastered to the point where the Heroes of Legend can maintain it outside of battle.

LV 6: The fifth strongest level of the Smash Core. This form was unlocked offscreen by the Heroes of Legend. It is similar to the Super Saiyan 3 form, as the Heroes of Legend's hair becomes waist-length.

LV 7: The fourth strongest level of the Smash Core. This form was unlocked when the Heroes of Legend joined their hearts together. This form makes the Heroes of Legend look like they are in their base forms, but LV 7 is identified by the lightning crackling around the user.

LV 8: The third strongest level of the Smash Core. Like LV 6, this form was unlocked offscreen. This form turns the user's hair and (rarely) clothes white. The user has the same spiky hair style that LV 5 has.

LV 9: The second strongest level of the Smash Core. This form was unlocked when all of the Heroes of Legend joined their hearts together, though they bypassed this form for LV 10.

LV 10: The final level of the Smash Core. LV 10 can only be unlocked when every member of the Heroes of Legend who have wielded a Smash Core fragment currently possess one and join their hearts together. LV 10 is by far the strongest level of the Smash Core, as it gives the Heroes of Legend 100% of the Smash Core's power. It is confirmed that there are no levels beyond LV 10.

Trivia[]

  • The Heroes of Legend consist of almost every species introduced in the series.
  1. Human (Naruto, Sakura, Samus, Punisher, Ben, Mario, Luigi, Sasuke, Rosalina, Princess Peach, Marth, Batman)
  2. Saiyan (Goku, Vegeta)
  3. Zombie (Zombie Spider-Man, Zombie Wasp, Zombie Wolverine, Zombie Iron Man)
  4. Mobian (Sonic, Shadow, Silver)
  5. Neathian (Fabia Sheen, Sellon)
  6. Gundalian (Ren Krawler, Anubias)
  7. Koopa (Bowser)
  8. Creepypasta (Psycho Kirby)
  9. Pokemon (Pichu, Mewtwo)
  10. Robot (Metal Sonic, Bass)
  11. Other (Dark Surfer, Yoshi, Gohan [human/Saiyan hybrid], Boo Rock [Boo/Thwomp hybrid], Yami Bakura, Kirby, Ridley)
  • Despite being the strongest heroes on the planet, Pichu has defeated villains such as Yami Bakura and Reiaz. This was a foreshadowing of Pichu becoming a member of the group.
  • When the Smash core is tainted, the Heroes of Legend suffer heart problems. However, this didn't happen with the creepypasta essence, since it was used to revive them as the Dark Heroes of Legend.
  • Goku, Sonic, and Ren are the only Heroes of Legend who didn't don the "rebirth" outfit
  • Sakura, Pichu, Gohan, and Bowser are the only Heroes of Legend that replaced a former member.
  • Every fusion that involves Psycho Kirby has "Psycho" in the name, while every fusion involving Goku has "Super" in the name, with the exception of Nakulon. Every fusion involving Sellon, except Nakulon, has no name.
  • Most of the Heroes of Legend who have Bakugan use the Darkus attribute with the exceptions of Naruto, who uses Pyrus and Haos, Fabia, who uses Haos, Sellon, who uses Ventus, Haos, and Subterra, and Samus, who uses all six attributes. This is ironic, since Darkus Bakugan have been mostly used by villainous characters.
  • Zombie Spider-Man's Pandemonium Sword resembles Ganondorf's sword in Melee.
  • According to Fleetway Super Sonic, the Heroes of Legend are contaminated every time a villain possesses the Smash Core.
  • The Heroes of Legend are the only characters to be both protagonists and antagonists.
  • According to Meta Knight, the Heroes of Legend are fated to battle against their friends one day, with neither side surviving. Meta Knight's prediction is slowly starting to come true, as the Heroes of the World have already died from the EXE Virus and Ryuk has writen the Heroes of Legend's names in his Death Note, which will result in their deaths on the terms he set.
  • Due to Ryuk's use of his Death Note, the Heroes of Legend were set to die from the Kabuto Virus on January 31, 2013 after they defeat the Revolutionaries once and for all, and will go into Subspace so that their deaths will not be detected by the Kabuto Virus within the Smash World and make sure their bodies are never found. However, this was modified by Sonic.exe so that the Heroes of Legend would die immediately after their victory against the Revolutionaries in his final attempt to defeat the Heroes of Legend once and for all, secretly using this to help Kabuto take control of Master Hand. After their ressurection, the Heroes of Legend's original date of death was once again put into effect, but Zombie Wasp altered it again to speed up their deaths.
  • Batman is the only Hero of Legend that does not have a Dimensional Core fragment, due to his status as a reserve member.
  • Due to bottling up their hatred and the trauma caused by the Heroes of the World's deaths in the old Smash World, the Heroes of Legend have 3 distinct personalities, a regret filled persona, the dangerous Dark persona, and their natural personality which can go in either direction depending on the situation.
