Mewtwo is one of the main protagonists in Super Smash Bros. Crossover. In Season 9, Mewtwo is captured by Mag Mel. In Season 12, Mewtwo travels with the Heroes of Legend as they track down Yami Bakura. Mewtwo's biggest role was in Season 13. After Pichu's rebirth, Mewtwo attempted to comfort Pikachu, but was unsuccessful. Pikachu later forces Mewtwo to leave so he can fight Pichu. Mewtwo is next seen with Yoshi and Zombie Giant-Man attempting to fight off the Fighting Polygons when they are saved by Naruto Uzumaki. Mewtwo finds out that Pikachu was killed by Pichu. Mewtwo joins Naruto as they attempt to save Vegeta, but are too late. Later, Mewtwo is the first to notice Samus Aran's enhanced power has driven her insane, and is also the first to be drained. Afterwards, Mewtwo thwarts Samus' trickery and later battles Pichu. Ultimately, Mewtwo sacrifices himself in an attempt to exorcise Pichu's inner darkness, but is unsuccessful and Mewtwo dies as a result. Mewtwo is revived at the end of Season 13. In Season 20, Mewtwo is recruited by Vegeta to capture the others, though why Mewtwo accepted is still unknown. In Season 29, Mewtwo becomes a Hero of Legend due to his status as one of The Creator's Triune. In Season 36, it is revealed that Mewtwo was the mentor of Bowser and Ganondorf and had been planning to overthrow Master Hand because he knew that it was really Mephiles the Dark in disguise. Mewtwo later sacrifices his life to protect Naruto, Sasuke Uchiha, Sonic the Hedgehog, Zero, Shadow the Hedgehog, and Kirby from Sonic.exe, and places his faith in Naruto, Sasuke, Sonic, and Zero to fix his mistakes and save the world. Mewtwo is later revived after Sonic.exe is defeated.
