Spectra Phantom
Spectra Phantom is a new character in Super Smash Bros. Crossover and a major protagonist in Season 22. Spectra is first seen during the Into The Darkness Arc, where he is seen observing the Heroes of Legend as they track down the villains, and decides to give them new Bakugan Battle Suits. Spectra later reveals himself during the battle against Wiseman and Miles "Tails" Prower, and tells Naruto Uzumaki, Anubias, and Sellon to use the new Battle Suits, and reveals he was the one who gave them the Battle Suits to assure them the Battle Suits aren't traps. Spectra then witnesses the arrival of Yugi Muto, Jaden Yuki, Yusei Fudo, and Yuma Tsukumo, and joins the Heroes of Legend as they move on to save Tails, Meta Knight, Zelda, and Toon Link. After the mission ends in failure due to the Heroes of Legend fighting amongst themselves, Spectra registers himself, Infinity Titanium Mecha Sonic, and Sephiroth in the Neo Smash Champion Tourney in hopes of repairing the Heroes of Legend's bonds. When Earth is transformed into a spaceship, Spectra acts as the commander of the heroes. Later, it is revealed that Spectra was approached by Tobi to join the villains, but turned their offer down. Later, Spectra is pressured by Wiseman to join the villains or die, with Spectra deciding to fight Team Samus alone, but is overwhelmed until Naruto and Shadow the Hedgehog come to help him. However, after witnessing the ressurected Mag Mel effortlessly toss Samus aside, Spectra betrays the heroes, though he feels remorseful for doing so. Later, Spectra learns Gus Grav went to the villains' headquarters to try and save him. Deciding to overcome his fear of Mag Mel, Spectra betrays the villains and attacks Anubias and his Iron Dragonoid army. Spectra continues to help the heroes once more after this.

- Spectra is the first new character introduced in the Neo Smash Champion Tourney, as the other characters are just reintroduced.
- Spectra appears to already know Sasuke Uchiha, since Sasuke already knew Spectra's name, and Spectra knows Sasuke as well.
- Spectra is the creator of the Battle Suits.
- Spectra is the first Vestal to appear in Super Smash Bros. Crossover.
- Spectra has a strong will, as he was able to wield the Infinity Sword and not get corrupted by it.
